And look at that... the Lakers passed on Borrego for a dude that was coaching 9 year olds

2 more positions left… I think if anything this is better for Borrego if he gets the cavs or pistons job.

What makes you think Borrego wants to stay in New Orleans
For the betterment of his career he likely wants to start over somewhere else

My point is that he is not some hot commodity that teams are fighting over.

I get you keep saying that but again hes top candidate left for the last 2 positions as well. Like I said he either has a great agent or hes a legit candidate. Not sure about “hot commodity” but he seems to be on top of their lists.

Agents float their clients name out all the time my guy. It's their job

Mark Jackson or Sam Cassell are not top candidates for these jobs. Just saying. Agents aren’t everything.

I would love to hear the argument of how someone can fire Willie Green after the season?

Also, how could you not give him a raise, considering he has been the leagues lowest paid coach since he got hired?

He'll probably end up in Detroit with Trajan.

I thought Atkinson made a lot of sense for the Pistons. Will Borrego want to take on another young team that is looking for a long rebuild? Supposedly Langdon making it known he will take on bad contracts for draft capital.

Most teams that come to mind with bad contracts have little to no draft capital or are already so fricked they may as well ride it out, like Washington.

Unless they plan on taking Capela for some seconds I’m not seeing an immediate partner.

Probably right. However, having been fired once already, the Pistons job may be a tough sell. If he fails there, he may be done as a HC candidate again.

He backed out of a Hornets job a few years ago and some Hornets fans on RealGM are still salty about it, blaming him for their problems.

I think poor choices by their front office with regards to player character has more to do with that TBH.

Considering he's now the head coach of a good Cavs team, it was a smart move on his part to wait.
