What is the realistic goal for the team to reach?

First round exit didn't improve the roster

Dude you're a clown, your name fits. We improved our scheme by a new coach and if our team stays healthy we get better by way of our talent actually playing more than 1/3 of the games together.

And to answer the OP a tough 2nd round series would be a success in my book

Tough to say, but we will for certain be better. I'm going to say 53 wins, a 5 seed, and a 1st round series win, at least.

Dude you're a dumbass, your name fits. Didn't improve our scheme that's a pure assumption and good luck with asik running this fast paced offense. Jrue who should be the most important part of this scheme has sam bowie level stress fractures. Keep making positive assumptions bro easy to do at this point in time.

2nd Round should be the expectation.

didn't improve our scheme? Training camp hasn't even begun. Your best bet is to stop assuming that we won't improve, shut up, and wait for us to play some games.

there are at least 2 teams in the west with legitimate conf finals teams that won't make it out of the first round, not including the pels, suns, jazz. to me, if they entertain and comfortably make the playoffs I'll be fine

I love the NBA and I love going to the games
we have a generational superstar on the cusp
we should have a fun team that occasionally can run good teams off the court

good enough for me, for now

Scheme doesn't work unless you have the right players what aren't you understanding. Asik clearly is not a player for this system nor is Eric Gordons old lazy knees and jrue can't even play. So good luck with tyreke running the break straight into charges like he does everytime.

You really think you can win a road series v one of the top 4? If you're good enough to do that you should be able to win the next series too.

To me the 6 seed and a competitive first Rd series is fair. Behind HOU SAS GSW LAC and OKC.

No but I've watched every game of every season for the last 10 years. I'm very entitled to an opinion.

I would agree with you if we had the same team as last year.

Again, this will be an entirely different system.

IMO, Gordon played his best basketball with us this past season. And I have hope that Jrue will be healthy.

At least 50 wins, after that it's all up in the air. If we were in the East I'd say we should a series, but the Spurs didn't even do that last season. Anything over 50 wins and a couple playoff wins, and I'm satisfied.

Bottom line is we consistently give away our draft picks and it has come back to really bite us in the arse because we're stuck trying to jam players into spots where they don't fit. Now we are gonna waste ADs time with us and we will never actually be a contender just a pretender, bc there's no way in hell you can tell me a team with asik and a bunch of other average players will ever compete for a title. Just ask lebron.

Don't forget Alonzo Gee. But no, seriously, that type of response pisses me off. If you honestly think that having this nearly entirely new staff won't equal more wins, then you're kidding yourself.
