Kevin Love isn't enough to make this team better.

You're not going to build a championship contender paying your two big men $60M/yr.

Explain how getting Kevin Love allows us to improve our wing needs?
Are you going to trade Niko to get Love, b/c that would be stupid, unless you were being compensated for it with other young players or picks.
If you do trade for Love and keep Niko, what are you going to get for trading Niko, b/c you can't keep him now?
Teams that want Niko, want him to win now, so you aren't going to get a good return for him if you're trying to get some young wings from bad teams. maybe Phoenix would be willing to swap Niko for TJ Warren.

ALl that being said, I don't want to trade Niko. I want him to be part of the core team going forward. Move Randle and picks to get a good wing player. If that doesn't happen, then keep your pick and see if you can make some minor move and look to make the move this offseason. We aren't trading AD anytime soon. No need to panic just yet. if the right trade for a big name isnt' there in the next 2-3 weeks, you keep your assets and look to make the move in the offseason. If you can't improve by January 2020, then adios AD.

Beal, Porter or Barnes is my 1st choice (out of who should be available)

2nd option, I would call Atlanta and offer Hill, Wes and our 1st for Baze and Prince which gives us our SF of the future with more depth and length... With a top 11 of AD, Jrue, Randle, Payton, Niko, Baze, Prince, Moore, Miller, Frank, Okafor, that's a pretty deep team that could still have enough depth to overcome a short term injury or 2.

They aren't trading Prince for a 1st let alone just a 1st and taking on Hill.

where are these rumors?

most teams with a brain don't move on from 6'8" 24 year olds that shoot 38% from 3 and score 15 a game in their 3rd year in the league, who also defends well.

I've seen it in articles from other teams, and NBA radio was discussing trade targets the other day and they said they've heard Atlanta is looking to move him because of his age and they know they will have a long rebuild

Well I can see that point, but I would think if Atlanta wants a first for Bazemore, they want more than that for Prince.

ATlants is just piling up as many first round picks as they can, while not being a good team. Prince makes them a better team.

Baze isn't worth a 1st, and I don't think Prince is worth two 1sts, but am I crazy for thinking getting both is worth two 1sts + a 2nd?

I would rather use the assets we would need to acquire Prince to get Beal instead. While I like Prince, he isn't the needle mover Beal is. Without looking at the numbers, I would probably much prefer Prince over Barnes though and maybe even Porter when you take into account the difference in contracts.

I don't buy them selling Prince though. He's only 24 years old. He'll be prime age when Young, Huerter, Spellman, and Collins really start hitting their stride. If I'm Atlanta, I feel like that timeline is perfect.

I agree i'd rather Prince over Barnes/Porter.
I just can't see Atlanta sending him out for a pick that isn't in the top 12 or so, and even then, why make that trade? the odds are probably not in your favor that you'd get a player as good as him.
They'd want a first and young player with potential, I would think. if they think highly of Frank, maybe that.

I was actually going to start a thread about this guy. He can play, but would he really move the needle for the Hornicans? Is he worth giving up some of the assets I've seen mentioned in previous threads?

color me skeptical.
