I mean the politics board is testimony to the fact that racism is in fact alive and doing very well in this country, and in particular the south.
Got no problem talking abt white racism. what’s dangerous is the idea that we can’t talk abt black racism - which is bad and getting much worse.

Let’s not do this here.
Let’s focus on Ramonas comments.

Ramona is gonna die. Heart disease will be a factor. Especially because of her apparent disregard for physical activity.

I hope to God Jeff Van Gundy talks about how stupid this fricking take is by her.
ESPN tried to make the Pels look bad throughout this whole ordeal. Tried to make us look bad when Boogie went full retard. frick them and frick AD. Guarantee his camp wanted this out there before this game.

Ramona doesn’t realize half the Pels crowd is normally black, as was our GM and our HC. She just wanted to make a statement so she can get a Cush job writing for The Undefeated, where you don’t have to research or post facts, all you have to do is smear some shite on paper and call it your personal truth with a disclaimer that feelings are more important than facts as long as they’re your feelings

Ramona Shelbourne looks like if you asked someone to draw Chris Farley from memory

What’s crazy is I was listening to ESPN radio on the drive home yesterday and Stephen A Smith has a caller blasting Trump and the NFL owners as racists, and SAS cut the guy off and put him on blast saying no one is gonna talk shite about the president on his radio show and ESPN doesn’t promote politics or race discussion. ESPN has come out and said the above, so I’m wondering if Ramona is gonna get reprimanded for going against the “no politics and no race discussion” new anti-agenda

So... AD got exactly what he wanted, albeit not at the exact time he wanted, he is currently on one of the top teams in the league, and yet he is so mentally weak that he can’t accept that he fricked his old team to get there.
I don’t see how it makes things any better for AD’s side to indulge him in this fantasy. It just continues a LOT of issues involving him being completely unable to take criticism for his frickups.

The funny thing is at first we all understood. Our franchise was trash. He should have wanted out.
It was all the bullshite afterwards.

Edit: not gonna worry about responding to the trash.

So one of the most diverse sports fans who support the pels, a team in the NBA, made up of mostly black men are racists because our franchise player gave up on the team and forced his way out with the help of his agent doing dirty work who happen to be black? Yeah the fans are definitely upset about ALL of this because the agent is black. What a joke

Rich Paul has been critiqued in a way that other brash, white agents haven't. Some of that is because of his tactics, some of that is because of his race and background. He's a gate crasher. But that's a national thing, not simply New Orleans or the south. Proposing that it only exists in the south is absurd.
Davis and Paul were not wrong to demand a trade. The Pels were a garbage organization. But they handled the situation in an unprecedented manner that led to a poisoning of the well. Kushner has a good rundown here

Pretty much.
We figured it was coming, we just wanted the word on an extension or a trade. How AD handled the trade request in multiple senses burned a LOT of people and managed to make him more hated than CP3 or Baron Davis, who both did the same thing.

It has absolutely NOTHING to do with being black.
It has to do with not earning his spot. He was a two bit hustler that became friends with Lebron by selling him counterfeit merchandise. He rode the back of a superstar and parlayed it into getting a job through nepotism.
He didn’t go to Harvard. He didn’t work his way up through an agency.
He had a famous friend.
That’s where the criticism comes in. There are many many many black agents.

Bingo.
RP, Maverick Carter, and others basically have their careers due to LeBron pulling strings for them in Cleveland and/or Miami.
If LeBron was pumping gas somewhere, RP would still be selling jerseys out of his trunk.

Also, it’s his association with Lebron. If he had rode the back of say, Kawhi, he wouldn’t get near the hate.
But it’s Lebron and people fricking despise Lebron for a variety of reasons. When you are one of the greatest of all time you will have intense like and intense hate. And that will extend to your proxies.

What’s hilarious is that LeBron’s taco Tuesday videos are racist as frick.

Proving my point. You don't think getting into Harvard or CAA or wherever doesn't include knowing the right people? He's a gate crasher and he's black. That upsets some people.
Another way to frame this:
Rich Paul built himself up from nothing, using his god given wits to take advantage of opportunities to become the premier agent in the NBA.
Sounds like an American Dream story.

That’s one way to look at it.
Most people don’t see it that way and it has nothing to do with being black.
