Of the four losses, the average margin of defeat is 5.25. However, three of those four losses were by two or fewer points.
Pels are 0-6 in games decided by 3 points or less.

The 6 loses are 3rd most.

The 0 wins are the worst, every other team has at least 1 win.

That along with being 9-7 against teams under .500, we've probably left more meat on the bone of our 23-15 record than any other NBA team.

Team is really versatile, just don’t know how they’ll handle elite high pick action that they’ll see plenty of against Denver, OKC, Bucks, and Boston.

We’ve already shown we can beat the nuggets and okc. Boston and Bucks should be interesting although Bucks have been playing like crap lately.

I’ll be honest for me this team has enough talent to beat any team, any night- its honestly on the players and the coaches to get it done.

Silly that people were calling for his job before he was even allowed 40 games with this full roster

Some people were calling for his job

I think more people were saying that if something doesn’t change he might need to go. It seems like something has changed recently

Willie is not just ignoring obvious things like people seem to think. He even brought in a assistant coach who's job is to find plays/players/strategies to exploit based on the analytics. But he's not making snap judgements like we are and has talked about taking the season in 10 game sections. There have been times in the past where fans have been screaming for obvious changes, that did eventually happen, but only after it played out and they felt they had the data to make the changes.

They've played 38 games. Hopefully the data for Trey + Hawk stands out enough to make them get more run in games 40-50.

Yep, and for the last 28 of them the Pelicans are 1st in NET, 1st in Defense, and 5th in offense

Clutch minutes have really been our only glaring weakness

Willie & the staff have begun to figure out the best matchups/rotations to put on the court throughout the game. The results are showing yet what you mentioned here is the biggest glaring issue left remaining imo.

The coaching staff must become better in play design & getting the players to execute those plays in the waning moments of tight games.

I'm guessing some of those issues in the stretch runs have been a multitude of issues. Some of it coaching. Some of it players pressing, trying to do too much themselves & some of it from players who simply haven't been in those moments together as an unit very often. It takes time to figure much of that out.

As frustrating as it is from a fan's perspective especially the 4th quarter collapses, much of it is indeed a trial & error process then adjusting from the errors as the coaches & players move forward.

This is probably the most frustrating aspect of the trial & error process I just mentioned because if a few of those 4th quarter collapses or losses to sub .500 teams are wins, the Pels are sitting a top the standings in the Western Conference.

Nuggets game tomorrow is big. Win that and we are looking great. Then Mavs back to back and our schedule eases up some afterward

Go 3-0 in the next 3 games and we are in great shape. 2-1 and we are still solid

If we go 3-0 over the next 3 I’m printing the shirts.

Looks like we're probably punting that one away unfortunately.
