Here's the weekly thread. I honestly have been very busy since the Pelisuite game on Tuesday and haven't kept up with the rest of the league, so I have no thoughts to start the discussion.

But, hopefully, some of you do have some thoughts. Please share.

OG injured with a sprained left wrist.

Myles Turner signed to an extension.

Might be worst trade deadline ever.

The League…well, Denver was rock and rolling but Joel Embiid decided he wants to win the MVP in one game. 47 in a masterful performance. Crazy thing is Denver looked like they were toying with the 76ers for a lot of the game.

I’m still not too concerned with the Lakers really making a run, but I can be wrong. Memphis is falling apart gives us hope for the division.

But if you told me Golden State is in 2nd place in the west by March I wouldn’t be surprised. They are positioning themselves for the stretch run.

Suns are currently 9th but I expect them to end up in top 5 once they get healthy & get whatever they are gonna get for Crowder. Lot of teams just mess around during regular season...for different reasons, just waiting for the playoffs. Apparently, home court doesn't mean as much as it did in past years. Suns will be hard to handle come playoff time...and Mikal Bridges is making huge leaps with his overall game.

I don’t believe in the Suns. Ayton doesn’t want to be there. Chemistry issues linger in Phoenix I see them out of the top 5

Grizz just finished going 0-5 on our West Coast/Minnesota road swing. Really hoping we’d jump on the Pacers back at home tonight but have come out flat. Down 16 in the 2nd and I’m getting pissed. Not showing any energy. We haven’t been the same since Adams got injured.

Bane is far more valuable to that team...than most realize. I'd luv to have him on the Pels.

We definitely missed Bane in the first half tonight. Came a completely different team in the 2nd half with energy. Jaren finished with 5 blocks and Ja had another triple double. The Pacers are the worst team in the East last 10 and looked like it. 2 back from Nuggets and we get to rest til Wednesday.

11th place thunder 25 losses.
4th place suns 25 losses.

musical chairs for a home series. 4th.
musical chairs for a playoff series. 6th at worst.
musical chairs for the best playin slots. 7 and then 8.
musical chairs for the 10th and last playin slot.

i suspect there will some all time attendance numbers in the west.

the thunder must see this.
they are in it!

they would not do zion jjj straight up. theyve been waiting for the day he doesnt reach and foul out.
hes been injured often enough to aggravate the pelisons.

if hes healthy a few weeks in a row he finds the range from 3.

hes had games in the high 30s while defending the rim with the best of them.

his ceiling is not far off.
stellar defender.
decent offense with random days hes premier.
if he stays healthy he could hit his ceiling this year.
A- for now.

zions ceiling is higher but the odds of jjj hitting his ceiling are currently better than zions.

Dame dropped 40-12-8 on the Grizz tonight on 11-22 shooting. We miss Adams more than we should and that’s worrisome. Ja barely missed his third straight trip dub with 32 -12 -9. Lillard was too good in the 4th and Anfernee Simons is one of the most underrated guards in the league. He’s made the most of his opportunity since CJ moved to NOLA. Nurkic left in the 1st after reinjuring his calf.

propose a trade for pf jjj. also gets run as small ball 5.
i get pf zion has upside.

jjj much better defender
much better outside shooting.

zion better inside. not that MUCH better. jjj is pretty good inside.

both are oft injured.
as of now, for my money,
jjj is the better bet.

i can say lilliard would look good at the shooting guard spot too but its not happening.

I know it’s just the second day in February, but I think you have most ridiculous post of the year locked up. Congrats.

You’re correct, Griff and the Pels definitely would not do that deal, not even if Memphis included 4 1st rounders.

You are talking about the Pels not doing that deal right?
