.... slow down the WCF hype just yet.

Hopefully someone won’t breathe on AD too hard and be misses games. And we need a guard wing who can create their own shot, and actually hit some.

Our bigs are great... but that’s not what wins rings these days....

Dude the team was physical, passing was sick, outside shooting solid, rebounding was good. No one is saying champions, but that was a hell of a start!

I loved every freaking minute of watching Paul and Gordon melt! Add in Anthony and Harden and it was glorious

Paul and Gordon

Might just be me but that team looked old!

GFY. We just blew the doors off the 1 seed from last year with the reigning MVP on their home court. We executed our vision to perfection offensively and played well defensively. It is time to get excited! It is not just one game, it is a statement game showing exactly what we can be.

We displayed how a talented big rotation that fits together perfectly can still dominate inside. AD showed improved handles and greatly improved decision making in passing out of double teams. This was not a case of Houston shitting the bed or us just hitting every shot. We got easy buckets all game and outside of Niko our guys did not play their best games.

Imagine a bench that features Randle as the 6th man and Moore as the 7th. The Pelicans have. They imagine that getting a real wing will not only make the starting lineup better, but now you have potentially an elite 2nd unit. You think this team is good now... just wait.

Sounds great, but at this point I hope they go for a cost controlled wing or an expiring so that we hav the flexibility to keep the bigs together if needed.

The problem is getting a "real wing" without giving up any of those guys.

Doesn't seem very feasible. I hope it happens though.

I don't think we make a deal anytime soon, but we will this year.

It would be nice if we could facilitate a 3 team deal where we send out Solo to a team we want to deal with that's in the tax, like Portland or Washington, or to a team looking to create more cap space next year like LAC or NYK, and get back a decent enough wing, while sending Wesley to Sacramento and let the other team send out a pick to Sacramento for absorbing the contract and getting them under the tax.

Pels send Solo to Portland, Wesley to Sac, get back Harkless and Leonard from Portland, Portland sends a pick to Sacramento. That kind of move gets portland out of the tax. Maybe Portland sends out the 1st, and us and Sac send portland our 2nd.
Simple move that allows us to keep our pick and upgrade Solo, and gives us $30M in expirings for next seasons trade deadline.

Or same type deal with Washington and Sacramento where we get back Mahinmi and Oubre.
