Poeltl is an interesting prospect. He has everything you want in a big but no one has a clear idea of what he'll be in the league since he still raw.

I'll tell you what though, he has great touch and soft hands for a big man

I love Poelt but behind ad Asik and Ajinca he would get 0 playing time. I'll take him if we can get rid of Asik.

It's not like either of them get much playing time to begin with. They are both slow as shite, Asik has zero offense and good defense, and Ajinca the opposite. As far as fast paced offense is concerned Poeltl is a much better fit given his skill set than the other two. Not to mention he plays pretty good defense given his size. Personally I think he'd gel well next to AD.

Poeltl has plus rim protector potential to go along with soft hands and good athleticism. I wouldn't let a mistake (the money tied up in Asik + Ajinca) make us make another mistake by passing on him if he's the BPA. I think he'd benefit playing next to AD with all the space AD would create and he'd almost never be double teamed. He already shows flashes of good post moves and finishes with his left and right hand. His only downside is that he's white and a little raw.

Can we just ban 504byrdshit from any prospect discussion? Dude embarrasses retards he goes so full retard against Hield. Let's take a random Euro who has decent numbers in the East German Cracker League over a guy with better numbers dominating NCAA competition.

That's how I know you know shite about scouting. Numbers mean nothing in the draft it's skills, drive, size, and athleticism. Also the cracker leauge you speak of is much more competitive the the NCAA.

I like in order

Simmions - He will have a game similar to Giannis a point forward and would be great next to AD. I think his shooting is a non issue. The difference between him learing to shoot is the difference between him becoming 3-4 time allstar or a superstar.

Ingram- I see him being KD light he will have the same game and skill set but he's not aggressive as KD. He's streaky and disappears in games like Paul George does.

Dunn-An explosive aggressive pg reminds of westbrook but not as strong, he will be an exciting player to watch and a great defender. He lacks shooting and is TOV prone and if he's developed right will be great. If we're choosing BPA I choose him if the team is not sold on Jrue he's too good to pass up.

Murray- A combo guard who explosive and shoots lights out, I would love to see him next to Jrue. He has that leadership and plays with great aggregation. I think he's the guy most likely to be similar McCollum.

Brown - He has such high potential and will be a great defender but has no offensive skill. He reminds me soo much of Aminu and we seen athletic non skilled guys bust so often. If he pans out he can be a player similar to Butler.

Luwawu- A sf with great size and length. He's a nba ready defender who can guard several positions. He has developed a great 3 ball shot and contributing to one of the best teams in the best leauge in europe. He has the potential of a Batum with the ceiling of a Leonard/Butler type player.

Valentine- I like him also great scorer shooter and passer. He's a high iq player similar to Draymond and would always do the right this on court he has great size and strength at the 2 and put him next to a defensive wing I think he will be fine. The only reason why I like Luwawu over Valentine is his defensive potential to guard 3 positions and plays for a position of need.

Heild- Has shaky handle and not that explosive. He's a great shooter and he's excelling because he's able to play bully ball against smaller guys but at 6'4 218 that won't work in the nba. I agree with MM if he excells at moving off ball he would be a player similar to JJ reddick. Heild is too one dimensional for my liking unless he turns into a elite scorer he won't make a huge difference.

Poeltl- An athletic big 7'1 center who's a rim protector and doesn't stone hands. He's been developing a offensive game and is the type of center everyone wants today.Between how much AD plays center I don't think he's needed and wouldnt make an impact on this team from a while.

Skal- I think he's wayyyyy to raw he needs to stay in college and I serious doubt his drive. If he can put it all together he could end up as the bast player from the draft but it's too high of a risk.

If anyone ever needs 504's attention, just type "Hield" followed by a positive adjective.

It's like a bat signal, and in moments 504 will be around to shite up any discussion that might be going on with an onslaught of hate induced posts about Buddy Hield and rose tinted, often hypocritical gushing over his favorite Euro baller.

"great 3 point shot"

Shooting 40.4/36.5/68.8 on 12.2/5.7/4.2 attempts...

He improved from last year, but far from great. Agreed on his defense being probably the most NBA ready thing. His other issue is his ball handling skills, which you could just peek at his AST:TO and could tell he needs to improve that.

He's always been consistent from within the arc (career 51.6%), but has improved his 3pt shooting over the years. He does improve his finishing rate at the rim ~55% last year, low 60%s this year. He is not an above average defender, so he won't be a shutdown guy partially due to his size.

We need a SF pretty bad and chances are we'll need a SG as well since EG is too injury prone to be dependable. I don't see either being a bad pick, but I don't see Luwawu being even close to Batum until year 3-4.

Kawhi is 24 years old and he took realistically 2.5 years before he even become close to a pseudo-allstar version of himself. Took him until this year (5 years) to turn into a top 5 SF in the league.

Butler is 26 years old and he took realistically 4 years before he even become this "Jimmy Butler".

You know I'm watching.

Anyone worried that AD23 is getting too many minutes at C for us to look at Poeltl, needs to be in the Ivan Rabb camp and forget about these guards. Pay guards in free agency, draft bigs.

I think AD is getting the minutes because we DON'T have a Poeltl.
He'd be an immediate 25 minute player, minimum.
Love this kid for us.

Only way we are going to get better at the 5 in the next 4 years, is by drafting someone. This is our shot. Less than $20MM tied up in a 3-man rotation at 5? PLEASE.

And that's a problem because? When AD finally gets contract leverage would you rather have an EG or a Batum on a rookie deal? I don't think this FO will be that forward thinking though, so I'm hoping for Valentine. Nearly as productive from 3 as Hield but bigger and has play maker skills.

Really like Alex Poythress' game. Just hit a 3, then made a nice move in the paint. Good size and plays solid D.

Probably can be had in late 2nd.
