Unless BI and Trey play out of their minds these next few weeks the hole these injuries caused might be just too much to dig out of. If we can finish this month’s last 9 games at 2-7 a victory with the teams we have to play and if somehow managed to go 3-6 it would be nothing short of a miracle. The only real positive is Missi is getting a lot of run right now.

Or just tanking, but that's unrealistic if you actually have everyone healthy by January.

Yes, I think that, if we want to tank, we really need BI to get hurt too.

Otherwise, this team is going to win too many games once it gets healthy. The optimistic case is that we make the play in and then are still good enough to make a run.

We're missing 6 guys, and Karlo can't even make the roster.

Pel have had Karlo in the org for 3 years. Either he plays or you should cut bait. I have seen JRE minutes, so ….

The "he showed up early to rehab" comment from a Twitter guy yesterday got me fricking pissed mad.

Same. A tweet about a professional meeting the minimum expectations of the job intended to lift our spirits.

Nah man. Tweet when he weighs 265.

My work just tweeted that I arrived at work at 7:50 am instead of 8:00 am today! And I’m only 6 years into my job! Great Progress!

Seems like CJ Herb and Hawkins still out tomorrow. Knowing pels they’ll probably hold them out the longer time conservatively so we may not see these 3 till next week against the warriors.

I can’t imagine how bad it’ll get the next 4 games. Nuggets, Lakers, Mavs and Cavs.

Jokic who never misses a game is questionable tomorrow for personal reasons. We’re soo bad that teams are making up excuses to rest their star players against us lol.

Today would be the first day that Herb, CJ, or Hawk could come back.

Considering they haven't been listed as anything but out yet, I wouldn't expect any of them soon

For sure, all is bleak but not lost. With a typical NBA schedule team can't have more than 20 losses before the end of year to have a chance at playoffs. That'd require Pels to play around .500 ball from now until the end of the year. Would the board change its stance on the team if they were in that position? Pels should get CJ and Hawk back soon with DJ and hopefully Herb back in December.

They’re 3-9 and have 19 games left till 2025. Technically they need to go at least 9-10 the rest of the way which would put them at 12-19. And thats 7 games under .500 entering 2025. At some point they’ll have to go on a win streak. The longest win streak in the Willie Green era is 7 games. So even if we find a way to do that we’re still sitting at .500. The Houston Rockets had a similar streak last year and ended the season at 41-41 and still missed the tenth seed. Something tells me we’re headed towards a “we just missed the 10th seed” season.

Late in the Lakers game, maybe even in the minute or two after the final horn, Joel said something to the effect of "It'll be nice to get Dejounte back next week." Nothing else was said about it, but he sounded calmly confident in the way he said it. I hope I heard him right. Dejounte will help BI immensely on both ends of the court.

If this is true and with CJ coming back next week with Trey- we might be fielding a real NBA team soon.

I wonder if all of them are targeting the warriors game on friday as a return.

See, this is why I was hesitant to put too much faith into what I heard. Did I mishear CJ as DJ? Did Joel mean to say CJ, but said DJ? I feel like he said Dejounte, though.

In a post by Dejounte after we beat the nuggets- there was a pic of him hugging BI- he had no brace or tape on his hand from what I can see. I don’t think hes very far away.
