The longer guys go unsigned the better chance we have to sign a veteran to the league minimum. As frustration sets in its not always about the money but better yet the role a player has and amount of playing time he can get. Nola can provide these opportunities for a couple of veterans if they so choose. here's the updated list of available players with the addition of a few more big name players that fall into that category.

Can anybody figure out what the Suns are going to do with all those wings. It almost seems like TJ Warren would be on the way out. Any chance we could pry him away? Hill and a draft pick (future 1st)? Saves the Suns money and Hill is more of a small ball 4. Warren can't really shoot, but he can score and run..

No David Nwaba, no care.

7-foot wingspan. Was NBADL all-defensive team two years ago. Averaged nearly 8 boards per 36 minutes as a 6’4 player last year with the Bulls.

Nwaba would be an interest get for us. He’s everything DeAndre Liggins should be.

If he was still terrific, he wouldn't be available for the minimum.

I am not looking for terrific.

Still a lot of decent players that are out there, and this is definitely a poor market for them.

Should be able to still add to this roster for sure.

Yeah I like Nwaba. I have to imagine he'd get more than the minimum. We'd likely need to use the TPE to get him.

I don't get the love for Nwaba on this roster. I look at skill sets and what I need. I look at what I need intangible wise. Nwaba is a fine player, but he is not what is needed.

Another guard who can handle and create well is needed. As is a veteran presence who is reliable. He might not have the highs of a young guy, but he won't have the lows either. When choosing between Devin Harris and a guy like Nwaba, it would be a no brainer for me. For THIS team. In a vacuum, I can make the argument for Nwaba. But not for this team.
