I know I'll sound like a homer but I'm really not worried. His ankle has slowed him down all year and he's playing for a coach that has no clue how to use him (or any other offensive player).

He's got no space to execute his style of play and his minutes have been horribly mismanaged.

Jury is still out on Reke, IMO. He had stretches of being very good for us.

I'd say there are maybe 5 teams, at best, who would take Tyreke on his contract. Then I'd assume the Pelicans would actually want return for him

This is basically the issue we ran into with Rudy Gay, except Rudy is a slightly better player.

It is tough to find a team willing to absorb a contract like his and give you back actual pieces.

He shoots 47% by that little circle. That's not so bad right?

It's a smaller target so he must have some what of a jumper...

He is the poster boy for having a great rookie year and doing nothing with it

Lets assume you have the same starting five next season. What's Reke going to do when Jrue is bring the ball up the court? The guy is a complete non factor unless he has the ball. And even then, he's a non factor unless you completely space the floor for him and have him drive at the hoop.

Our healthy starting 5 or the one he's played most of this season with? Huge difference there.

Healthy starting five...

It has talent, but it's poorly constructed IMO. I think we can agree there?

Surprised Monty doesn't have him taking every shot. If you shoot well you get pulled in the middle of your hot streak.

Tyreke evans has the shot chart that you would expect from your big man. Not your 6'6 SF. The thing he is best at doing, driving to the hole and finishing, he is only 47%, which i consider average. Lets face it, reke is mediocre. Nothing more, possibly a little less

There are good pieces in the healthy starting 5 that might not necessarily fit too well. I think we took a gamble in signing Tyreke but I'm not going to sign off on it as a failure until we get more time on the court with our finishing 5.

Their numbers in an admittedly small sample size were outstanding.

We're probably not going to have the same starting five next year fwiw,

EG will probably go(someone will gamble at 2 years left) and we'll use that money on a decent SF that can shoot+play D.

We'll probably also be able to afford a decent 5 as well(maybe gortat?) then look at this:

Jrue
Tyreke
3+D SF
AD
Gortat

Tyreke could easily attack the rim and if he doesn't like what he see he can dump it off(people forget he's averaged 4.6 assists) to Jrue(a solid 3 point shooter) or the SF.

Tyreke's jumpshot has looked a lot better in the last two games as well

We also need a coach that's not a dumbass
