So on the Anthony Davis situation, if what we’re hearing is true, Pelicans did not negotiate in good faith, possibly with the goal of putting Kuzma, Ball, Ingram etc in trade rumors that would sabotage LA's chemistry this season as revenge for AD’s trade request. This league, man

Again folks, this is based on what Windhorst said on The Jump & what several have said about Pels not responding to LA’s all-in offer.

This has been great, if I were Gayle and really just didnt give a shite, I'd call up Cleveland and say "How about JR Smith, Clarkson and your 1st for AD? Help you out a little since Lebum fricked yall over too."

Did the Pels tell the Lakers to pursue AD in a very public manner that included names of specific players? Or did they do that on their own?

Unbelievable spin from these LA guys

This is terrible. It’s not Loomis and the Lakers have nothing to do with the Rams...& if that’s how Loomis doing business, then he shouldn’t be anywhere near a decision making role.

Or you’re just a football obsessed fan that can’t move on and thinks NOLA vs LA applies to everything.

I don't believe this.

It would be horrible for an organization to do this. Agents will begin to treat New Orleans as a pariah.

I think the Pelicans and rightfully so just are not interested in all the Lakers assets unless the Lakers are willing to trade four first round picks

Will they?

There are a lot more non destination teams than destination teams and none of them benefit from the way big markets are basically able to bully and force the hands of smaller markets.

The Spurs already came out practically begging Demps to take a stand and not bend to the Lakers will.

And honestly, talking to some people in LA, most aren't buying this narrative and are blaming Magic for this ridiculous charade.

No, Klutch came in all bowed up thinking they could push Dell Demps around. However, big brother Loomis came back and showed Klutch that he is playing with the big boys now. Paul is nothing compared to the agents Loomis has dealt with in his career. Loomis showed Paul to be the amateur that he is.
