Exactly, we've been begging for these guys to be healthy and they finally are healthy and they just prove to us that they arent needle moving guys. That is fricking depressing. We're on pace for 3 more wins than last year. So the difference in Zion and Ingram being healthy to this team is 3 more wins. Sobering thought

Think of it this way- since they’re healthy and they basically suck- you now KNOW they aren’t good enough. I think that’s valuable information. What sucks when you don’t know and you’re just praying for them to be healthy because who knows how good they could be. To me even if its a bad result its great data to judge this team and make significant changes.

This season to date is arguably(I'd say absolutely lol) worse than the last 2.

Last 2 seasons you could use the Zion excuse and think we could be a contender if he was just healthy.

Now he's healthy, and we're an 8 seed on pace for 45 wins.

To date, what we've learned through 47 games thus far is worse than anything we've learned the previous 5 seasons.

We have a chance to turn it around in the last 35 games, I just don't know why I should have much confidence that we'll turn it around. it feels like we're in a dog fight to try to be better than a 7 seed/play in.

I think the depressing thing is that healthy Zion and BI are only worth 3 extra wins. That is fricking pathetic

True. It's just annoying cuz we couldve known this 2-3 years ago if theyd have been healthy

Yeah but you have to ask how much of this is coaching, bad chemistry between stars (BI/Zion) - for instance would we win more games if one wasn’t there, and bad role players (I don’t think this is the issue). There’s talent on this team but it doesn’t fit and is coached horribly wrong.

WTF did BI do to lose this game?

BI gets the blame that Willie's offensive strategy is clear it out and let BI play iso for 20 seconds before a 17 foot fade away. Would love to see our record when BI gets 7+ assists.

You are right. We are absolutely terrible down the stretch of close games. This is the biggest indictment on the coaching of this team. They have not been able to identify a go to set. Hell, they have no idea who they should play, much less who should have the ball and what they should be doing. When your coaching staff doesn't have a vision it leads to chaos, especially at the end of a close game on the road.

Tired of this team doing everything to build around Zion when he's about as reliable as a sheetrocker.

Honestly, I'd rather trade Zion at this stage. Maybe someone is still fooled into paying a ransom for him, but I just don't think you can ever build a winner around him.

That doesn't mean you keep BI, though. Frankly, I'm not sure the team wouldn't be better off if we traded both of them.

Coaching is the issue. A trade won’t fix that

This is bullshite, that’s just Willie’s rotations

You really must not watch the games. We had a 11 point lead (in fairness due largely to Zion dominating offensively). Then he doesn’t grab a rebound right to him; gets lazy and goes underneath a screen and gives up a wide open three to Hauser; then misses a shot right at the rim and then doesn’t get back on defense and gives up an easy layup; and the Celtics are off and rolling. He wad gassed because he had played 7 straight minutes (with the 4th quarter break in the middle). His lack of being in shape shows most in his rebounding. He just consistently gets out worked by opposing players on the glass. How else do you explain a mountain of a man like Zion having 1 rebound, 2 rebound, 3 rebound and 4 rebound games where he’s playing around 30 minutes? He can’t maintain maximum effort because he’s not in good enough shape.

I am not trying to make excuses for him, but I think he ends up camping out towards the perimeter guarding 3 pt shooters in the defense.

He also either has the ball on offense or for some reason ends up in the corner on offense away from rebounds.

I think he could have more, but I think some of it could be by design (good and bad).
