Does your station not tell you what the difference in the front offices of the two team are?

So you think CJ is not a PG and playing out of position, but you think Murray, Russell and White are true PGs?

Look I think CJ is not the answer at PG, it’s obviously been shown that as well - and yes, I think he’s out of position when he’s playing point.

Also yes, I think Derrick White, Russell, and Murray are more adapt to playing the point guard position because they’ve alwayysss played the point guard position.

This doesn’t mean I think they are better players than CJ, who I’m a big fan of, I just think you’d get more out of his game if he’s play along side one of the aforementioned players at the SG position.

Whether we like it or not, we’re one ball handler/midrange killer away from being legit.

It’s not a bad problem to have but it is a hard problem to solve. It’s what Griffin gets paid for - to solve this equation.

Im a glass half full guy. Honestly, Pels had no business in the lottery, pick 14 is a gift to upgrade the team on the margins and position to keep TM3 and Herb to move forward with BI and Zion. Don’t overthink this.

I kinda agree w/ Boot Krewe that there is a nonzero chance BI gets moved in the offseason as a soft reset as:

1) We are not tax payers
2) Break the three year cycle of injury mumbo jumbo
3) Get a bonafide stud in Scoot
4) Keep Herb and Trey
5) Move Trey permanently into the starting lineup.

I think it's zero.

That assumes Charlotte wants that to happen.

I disagree:

1) His value is at Peak now. If something were to happen to him again this upcoming season, we would be selling at a theoretical loss.

2) If there are any real aspects to the FO and BI being disagreeable, this would be the best time to ensure we get the most value.

3) I think Trey (this is going to sound crazy) might have a higher arc than BI in this modern NBA.

With all that said, the nonzero number is like 2-5%

Should our focus be on dumping one of our best players simply because we are worried that something might happen to him?

No the implication is that we would be selling at highest value. Which is true.

And btw were not dumping our best player. That would be Zion.

Edit:

Futhermore a lineup of

Scoot
CJ in his proper role
Trey
Zion
(insert any Center we can now afford)

Might be the better team in theory. Maybe I am just overvaluing Scoot's PG ability.

CJ’s highest value is on our team. Best we can get for him is 2 first round picks, or 1 first round pick and a decent but not great player. He’s worth more to us on our roster than what we would get back in a trade.

So, should the Bucks dump Giannis because his value is at its highest? Suns with Booker? etc.

Also, I said BI was one of our best players. Is that not true?

Giannis and Booker are cornerstones of their organizations.

BI is not. BI is a great Robin though.

Is Booker not the robin to Durant?

Responding to the thread overall.

Is there actually noise of Ingram being displeased w the organization?

I think there is a less than zero chance that Griff would actually want to trade him based on the way he talks about Ingram.

If Ingram is displeased about anything, you’d have to think it’s regarding Zion. Maybe he’s trying to put pressure in the Pels to flip Zion for assets that actually might be able to play and help him out?

That post that got deleted is the only place I've seen it.

Speculation on top of baseless claims are how urban legends are born.

No. Durant came to be Robin because hes in the twilight of his career still searching for a ring that doesnt have a Warriors emblem on it.

Not sure Durant is the robin, but maybe. Regardless, it is not a strategy to try and unload a 25 year old centerpiece of your roster just in case something might happen to lower his trade value.

My bad, I didn’t realize the Ingram displeasure speculation was solely from that thread.

I know he's played more games than Zion, but you gotta play more than 100 games and 82 games missed before you can complain about that. The front office should laugh him out of the office if he did that.

But yea, again, you're speaking to a completely made up scenario, so it's all pointless.
