Bridges is already making $20mil+, so short of moving one of our Big 3, we would have zero chance to keep Claxton after next season.
I'm not saying we should not do it for that reason, but just something to ponder in how we'd want to maneuver that, short of just letting Claxton expire after next season.

He has 3 years left on his deal...after this season.
I don't want any part of that, we are not a team in a position to be messing with that type of deal. THat's something a rebuilding team does.

Claxton will likely get 15-20 million on his next deal. Also remember that CJ’s contract starts declining after next season, and with the expected rise in salary cap may not be bad to keep all of them.

Because he would have 1 less year on his deal and his last year is only partially guaranteed. Graham + Kira make the same amount next year as duncan so it wouldn't affect your cap next year. If he bounces back you have a shooter and 2 1sts
