TY.

With prices coming back down to earth, maybe we can get something done before the deadline this afternoon.

The Poetl trade is interesting, seems like Toronto maybe not going to punt on the season.

Particularly interesting in that it seems to push one of OG/Barnes/Poetl to the bench. Could make OG more expendable and useful to swap for bench depth and/or picks. Maybe the price comes down?

Man it’s pretty wild that the same group of players seem to get traded every year after completely flopping where they were lol

IT's funny because I don't usually like to discount titles for players, but KD's 2 titles are absolutely discounted. An MVP level player who never won a title as THE guy went to a 73 win team. That'll never count the same as, say, Lebron beating that 73 win team.

Now KD has been added to a 64 win team.

Scary until someone falls on Durant’s knee or CP3 falls apart.

The second they lose any of their core four, they have big issues.

I don't see the incentive to trade a really good, young player for 1 1st that you'd hope there's a small chance that pick turns into a player as good as the one you're giving up.

That applies for any team though right? You lose one of your stars to injury and you're not as good as you were.

That being said, I think they could lose CP3 and still be ok.

Everyone dreaming of Bridges and Claxton or even DFS and Claxton needs to realize Picks and Filler is not going to get it done. The Nets just traded a superstar and Bridges is the best player they got back for him. You are going to need to trade something that at least looks like a potential star in the making.

I'm not sure if you can trade picks for that player. Would something along the lines of JV and Picks for Nurkic and Sharp or Simons work? Then trade that and picks for Claxton and Bridges or DFS.

I think the Nets would be kind of interested in Dyson to balance out future scoring champ Cam Thomas. I just don't see a way around getting what we want from the Nets without Dyson and a bunch of picks as the starting point.

Yes, it applies to any team.

But Phoenix has no depth and those two specific guys have injury histories and large long contracts which cripple any moves they can make.

If true, we can probably beat Memphis’ offer.

What is a deal you want then to make ?

What are you willing to give up?

Is that deal a real option?

You don’t overpay just because you can, thats piss poor asset management. We’re dangling multiple picks trying to get OG, just have to wait until a couple hours before the deadline to see if Toronto actually moves him

Im sure that same offer is on the table to Brooklyn for Bridges

Use it next season when all the teams using it now have nothing to use

Hmmm, sending out Temple, Hayes, Graham and Jonas could bring back Burcs, Bridges and Claxton. Bojan might be a little out of range at 9 million more.

i missed that. nets just got 4 #1s and a prime of life two way starter and one of the best young shooters for a recently injured top 5 shooter with rings. nets are now apparently moving their new 2 way for a haul.
