I can't help but think Brooklyn could have gotten a substantially better offer if they waited until the offseason.

I'd do that deal in a heartbeat.
I do think I prefer Bridges because of the better shooting. But I would do that deal and not think twice.

Last time I got caught this off guard by a trade was likely Deron Williams to Brooklyn because the Jazz quietly shopped him and no one knew he was available until he was gone.

The Poetl trade is interesting, seems like Toronto maybe not going to punt on the season.

There's rumors I’ve seen that Kings were interested in Poetl, we could maybe use them as a JV destination and get the trade done.
Pels: OG, Claxton
Nets: Hayes, 2024 Pels 1st, 2 2nds
Raptors: Barnes, 2025 Pels 1st, 2027 Bucks 1st
Kings: JV
That only works if Kings are interested in adding a 5 and using Sabonis more at the 4 as has been rumored. Nets and suns both get expiring salary, and Nets save even more against their tax bill.
