Making this a three team and sending out Devonta, Temple, Jax, and Kira to the Nets for Bridges and Claxton works financially. We have to cash in these first rounders at some point and the suns just made this shite a nuclear arms race. Bridges and Claxton fill the most serious holes we have on our team right now. I’d happily trade 3 future firsts for those two. Give ‘em the 24 Lakers pick, our pick in 26, and the Milwaukee 27 1st and negotiate from there. I doubt the Nets have any interest in what players are involved as they now seem committed to an OKC style total tear down and rebuild. All they’ll care about is picks.
CJ/Jose
Mikal/Herb/Dyson
BI/Naji
Zion/Trey
Jonas/Claxton/Larry
Fully healthy that starting 5 shits on anything the Suns or just about anyone else can roll out on the court. Go pickup some ring chasing backcourt backups and lets fricking ride.

The only good thing about the sun's getting KD is you know LeBron is so butt hurt he will just cry the rest of the year. Imagine Kyrie and Durant gets traded to the west in a span of less than a week and the Lakers like we got you DLo you know dude is heated.

The Nets are nowhere near done. They are talking about moving Crowder or buying him out. They are in 5th place right now and they actually have a ton of serviceable guys.
Dinwiddie/C. Thomas
O'neale/Curry
Bridges/Harris
Johnson/DFS
Claxton/Simmons
That's not actually a bad team. They might not fall out or tank like many are expecting..

It’s a playin team but not a championship caliber team. I would sell and get more picks honestly. Especially with the scouting department Nets have. You can easily get a 1st for Bridges/ Claxton. Also a protected 1st for Johnson.

Remember they still owe some picks to the Rockets so bottoming out may not be their plan.

Bridges, Clax and Richardson to Pels
Val, Graham and 4 1sts to Nets
Temple, Hayes and a 2nd to Spurs
I’d hate to give up Val, but with Claxton he’s not needed

Can anyone actually guard Durant?!?!

Dillon Brooks. He’s going to intentionally hurt him. Dirtiest player in the league.
But honestly, no one. You can have Kawhi and Giannis to try to slow him, but he’s still going to get his buckets.

I mean if all the things the Pels could do to keep up with Western Conference Jones’s, needing a wing to guard Durant isn’t really the Pels priority. Pels have Herb, Dyson, and BI.
If the Pels really wanted to get in the arms race they’d probably need to pull some left field shite and go dump picks and players off in Portland and get Dame or something…would have to awkwardly move CJ in that scenario, but the Pels would have as good a big three as any team.

I guess Mortgage Mat is going to pay $60 million in luxury tax penalties?

The key to beating that team will be to have 2 guys that can limit Booker and Ayton, and someone that can do a halfway decent job on Durant, while being able to keep up with them scoring.
That’s where you get Bridges, he can score and he’s a hell of a defender to put on Booker, and a guy like Claxton can limit Ayton while also being able to switch onto Durant and it not be a huge mismatch.
