Trade Naji and Kira to Washington for Gafford and Avdjia and call it an offseason

Wizards get a young P and a solid vet presence in Naji for the tank. We get the C we need and I don't really give a frick about Avdjia but the salaries work.

Why would Washington do that? Kira and Naji have little to no value.

No the salaries do not work, Gafford alone makes to much for Kira and Naji to salary match

We aren’t trading Naji. Billy, Kira, and Temple are the 3 on the way out if anyone is traded.

Gafford can fetch them more and they like Avdjia much more than we like Kira.

Naji has earned his role in this team and he’s on a cheap contract this season. Why wouldn’t you want him on the team? Next year when he’s a free agent is a different story he will naturally take the largest deal as his main career contract. Most athletes get one decent free agent deal after their rookie deals and that’s it. Naji deserves to cash in but I doubt it will be us.
