I know you wouldn’t lie, therefore I am flapping. I mean I was flapping already, but even harder now.

Definitely feels like another great draft for sure. Exciting times people. If we keep nailing these picks I don’t wanna trade them anymore

What I love is the p prototype of players we are drafting - high bball IQ, defensive players.

We have enough scoring with CJ/BI/Zion/Val. And the FO knows that

Have to agree. Daniels has a very sought after NBA skill set with plenty of upside to boot, and Liddell is a high IQ defender that can do a bit of everything (defend the rim, rebound, switch a little) on that end of the court and can stretch the floor and move the ball offensively.

I’m not sure how much either plays right away, though I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if both crack the rotation as rookies, but they’re both 100% key rotational pieces by year 2 or 3.

My guess is that Lidell hustles his arse off and we can trade Jax by mid season and feel fine.

We already have JV to start and Nance to backstop him and Zion, so we mainly need a guy who can come in and be able to work with Nance.

That gets us off of Jax before his contract explodes, replacing him with a guy making a fraction as much for comparable work.

Now to get rid of Jax, Temple and Graham in that order

Not sure you have to dump them right away.

I'm willing to see if Jax or Graham have leveled up their games. Don't think any way Temple is anything other than a culture guy. No minutes.

Hard to see us paying Hayes what he wants, long term.

Not impossible Devonte might bounce back as a shooter to his 2020 season level. Would be a huge bonus off the bench if he could be 38%+ from the arc.

Long term, Graham has to go unless he majorly steps up.

Doesn’t have to be before the end of this season, though, as his contract is only partially guaranteed for 23-24. (Around $3-4m guaranteed out of around $12m)

Temple? Movable when we need to. Worst comes to worse, he and Cash Considerations get traded to a team with a roster slot and cap space to cut him.

I love our 3 draft choices as well, but don't sleep on the 2 un drafted free agents that we sign, I like both of these kids also.

Or we could just waive and stretch him if necessary.

Possibly. Question is whether we can clear $5m now or want to eat $1m for five seasons.

Graham will definitely be more catch and shoot with Zion back into the rotation.
