For those want to watch Tomas had his first interview with the Pels media this morning. Very likable guy. Played with Temple in Chicago and Washington. Played with Willy overseas. Seems very excited about coming t the Pels. Don't really think we move him.

He's a good player, and probably an underrated one by our fans.

We will likely try and move him at some point during the season since he's a nice sized expiring but I think he can help us in the short term.

I just don’t see the for besides him being a long guard. He is not a good outside shooter at all.

I think he was a guy we brought in like temple to be a veteran presence with a good attitude who WANTS TO BE HERE. As we are seeing that last part is the most important part. If a guy has value and wants to be here, we pretty much have no choice but to prioritze that. We can get somebody better who doesnt want to be here but what good does that do us?
He brings competiveness and can create for others and is long and can fill out the depth at both Guard spots. Thats valuable for us.

Not sure Kira is ready, so we're going to need a backup PG.

I think I have a bunch of posts wanting Dell to get Sato when he was in WAS. He’s a good bench guy. Looks like he is sticking around so the Buddy stuff likely gets put to bed.

Believe he shoots high 30’s or low 40’s on spot up 3’s and there was a season where Sato shot 46% from 3. Let’s see how he does with a bunch of wide open looks created by Zion and BI.

Like NOFOX, I have previous posts over the years wanting to bring Satoransky here. He is a solid player.

I have been watching some more highlights and he reminds me of Shaun Livingston. Got some size and pretty good in the mid-range. I think he's a better 3 point shooter than Livingston but not as good of a defender. He's a good fit for what we need. Wouldn't be surprised if he's the starter at "PG".

I could see Kira getting traded.

I doubt that happens this year unless a real star or potential star becomes available.

I think Sato just gives us a reliable backup PG until the trade deadline, giving Kira more time to work on his game and ease him into an expanded role as the primary backup. He can start if needed as well, so he's definitely got more value to us than we originally thought.

If we are just trading salary, then Hart and Sato are the most likely to be traded, but yes, if our trading partner wants talent too, then Kira is the most likely to go after that.

If they don't want talent, then it's probably a salary dump with picks attached?

Who knows? I am just pointing out that Kira still is super young with lots of potential, but if we have to include young talent in a trade, I think that Kira is more likely to go than NAW, Jaxson, Naji, or Murphy.

I don’t think Kira has much trade value. You couldn’t get a first-round pick for him.

Sure, but that's more because the teams who would be trading for Kira are likely rebuilding and don't want to give up picks. He would have positive value for sure if we're trading for a good player to a rebuilding team (along with future firsts)
