We will do nothing of substance.

Let the downvotes rain down on me if we do.

we pretty much are in trade deadline purgatory... the only pieces we REALLY wanted to move in REKE and EG are "Hurt" and therefor unavailable to be moved.. this season is nothing but bad luck

Pretty much.

It might be for the best. I'd almost rather Dell not be able to frick anything else up, stand pat, fire him right after the deadline, hire a new GM and let him go into the offseason and do what he wants to do.

Nofox posted that he heard Dumars was helping as a draft consultant. If that's true I've been trying to figure out if that means Demps has a new boss or firing Demps is already decided but Joe isn't taking his place. I guessing it's the latter, otherwise they'd just make it official and announce Joe as whatever his title would be.

can there be a ban on threads where somebody posts an article to a possible trade that's nothing more than some dipshit playing around on the NBA trade machine?

You can care about all kinds of things. One of the more memorable melts we've had over the years was when Marco Belinelli made a layup that helped us win against a blatantly tanking Golden State team. There was a lot of emotional investment in ping pong balls back then.

We can take an in formal vote right now
Upvote to ban ridiculous threads that have no legitimate information other than someone just screwing with trade machine with out using it to support an article or already reported trade .
Down vote if you are cool with threads that are based only on someone's wild trade machine deals.

As long as they're clear in the subject that it's a proposal and not a rumor I'm fine with it. Like the current one, if they change Possible to TradeMachined, people wouldn't jump to the wrong conclusion.

Agreed. I edited a little. But it's gotten kind of ridiculous lately.

I actually think Ryno gets moved. It'll be either WAS or TOR. I think he's going to tell his agent to very diplomatically let Demps know he won't be resigning here, effectively doing Demps' job for him.

GF's suicide was here, think he wants to move on.

Cave need a C to replace Moz but we wouldn't get anything in return hopefully we can just dump him but I don't think Dell does it

I honestly don't even think they even need a high paid center unless they get a premier one (i.e. howard or whiteside - seeing as if those two are the most available right now).

You need a competent "true center" for maybe 20 minutes of the game and the rest of the time they can use a guy like Tristan Thompson and Varejao. They can find that pretty easily imo (i.e. a guy like alexis ajinca's caliber can give them a solid 10-15 minutes)

They roll out a lineup of: Irving, Smith, James, Love, and Thompson and it probably beats most teams.

Pretty sure Cleveland is in the business of beating every team, not most teams.

I won't care about the tank until it's clear that we're doing so and not just losing incompetently.

If we do anything it will be the equivalent of last year's Salmons for Cole at the deadline.
