I would love to get Founiers and Luwawu or Baze and Luwau. PT is so pissed right now on how right I was. They wished Gentry said "we need a undersized 6'4 guard who just wants to shoot.".

We are bound to get Sefolosha...cough cough...I mean Luwawu. This board is going to melt so hard.

I swear 42 and Fear both stopped what they were doing to see how bad I was going to melt when we drafted Noel. They were not disappointed.

And it's clearly the only thing this team needs, amirite?

To be fair, hasn't gentry talked about "just needing talent and basketball players" in general?

Chad Ford has this guy mocked at 19 to the nuggets

Don't worry he will change it after the draft.

The fact that 504 thinks Luwawu is one of the guys Gentry was referring to is absolutely hilarious. There's a 0% chance the team selects him.

Who fits that description more that's available?
Posted on 4/16/16 at 1:15 pm to 504ByrdGang
Who says Gentry was making that comment with any particular player in mind and not just making a general statement of wants?
It's not exactly some shocking news that we need help at the wing and Gentry looks for players that are passers.
Lots of players fit that description in today's game. And something tells me Gentry hasn't been spending what little free time a HC has watching your man crush play games in Serbia.

Free Agents:
Nic Batum
Harrison Barnes
Evan Turner
Maurice Harkless
Allen Crabbe
Draft:
Jaylen Brown
Denzel Valentine
Could be a lot of guys not named Luwawu

Free Agents:
Nic Batum - 6'8 maybe
Harrison Barnes 6'8 maybe not a facilitator tho
Evan Turner not an athletic defender no
Maurice Harkless 6'9 maybe but not a facilitator
Allen Crabbe 6'5 no
Draft:
Jaylen Brown not a facilitator
Denzel Valentine not athletic

Seriously 504, you are full into conspiracy territory, there isn't even evidence Gentry knows who Luwawu even is. And if he does, he certainly hasn't been pounding game tape. He is probably just now getting acclimated and delving into the offseason game.
6'7 is the average height for small forwards. Athletic and capable of facilitating and scoring is the ideal archetype in today's game. This isn't the smoking gun that we are going after Luwawu you want to make it out to be.

So you really think the team is going to go into the draft with the philosophy of "there is nobody that fits that mold that's available so we ABSOLUTELY have to reach for a 20 year old skinny kid from France to step in on this team that wants to win now to save us?"
Your logic makes zero sense.
