Time for Change

Willie’s coaching at the end of this game has been atrocious, highlighted by arguing with the official over BI’s non-walk but not challenging the call. I guess he’s saving that challenge for Monday night.

We should do that if a new coach can’t motivate them. Willie is failing miserably.

Well that is a horrible rule. That’s one of the easiest calls to review.

The coaching staff’s biggest mistake in this game is not game planning and drilling into the players’ heads that they could not let Coby White get going from three. That should have been priority #1 on defense. He is their hottest player and they let him get hot. That equals a loss.

Letting it happen is one thing, but watching it and refusing to adjust and leaving Naji on him to get cooked is another.

They play 82 of these. Chill its the 2nd night of a b2b missing 3 of our shooters. We lost at the 3 point line. Actually played pretty well to only lose by 6 when you are out shot like that from deep.

I mean, that is gross. But CJ, Trey and Matt Ryan weren’t available. With 3 of our 4 best shooters and the optimal players to play with Zion out, the options were kind of limited.

I was saying this same thing myself but this team needs a Kerr type situation when he took over for Jackson.

When your team constantly commits low IQ turnovers, shows a lack of effort, and plays down to competition, that is a coaching problem. He's too soft on these players. The whole organization is.

It’s not gonna happen this early. To me I just don’t think BI and Zion work well together. Can’t have your two main guys not be able to shoot 3s at all. If we do go on a slump and fire Willie, I’d like to see what Borrego can do for half a season
