maybe because i'm new here, I don't understand why there is absolutely zero news on the pelicans on the front page? Is this board really less active then say the politics board? How is there not a short cut to this board on the front page? Just curious.

I think the Poli board is the 2nd most popular behind the OT. This is a niche board with surges due to particular events, similar to the Saints..

Thanks I appreciate it, I just thought it was weird, that with all of the things going on with the PELS right now there is NOTHING on the main page. Make me wonder if this site is run by a single individual instead of a company.

It’s primarily a LSU message board so that will typically dominate the front page.

Other than this board, I really can't stand a lot of the culture that dominates this site, but somehow, above all odds, except during some big events, this board avoids a lot of that.
Pelicans Report was solid for a minute, but it was always dominated by a cliquish culture of faux insiders and then really hit the shittier when Gerrity basically abandoned the site a few years ago and all that was left was Crewz at his worst, while fellow BSS blogger 42 used his modship as a vessel to fulfill his need for petty tyranny and feeding his sense of superiority.
I know that was a time where several posters over there jumped ship.

Only LSU news gets on the front page. They really should start adding saints and pels news to the front page. It would reinforce that this is a Louisiana sports based message board, which some people on here tend to forget.

That's indeed true. There's some bball knowledge on this board you just won't find anywhere else.
