Thoughts on trading for Draymond?

Warriors owner has mentioned that he needs to lower salary because of luxury taxes. They probably need to get rid of 2 out of 3 of Draymond Wiggins and Poole to do so. I’m thinking we need at least 1 guy on the team that will has that dog in them. Draymond barks at refs and unfortunately that works. He will also bring championship mentality that will hopefully light a fire under Zion. I like this team and it’s players but they are too nice. Naji is not a good enough player to be an enforcer. You actually need someone on the floor and has earned respect from players and refs. Just spitballing here but we definitely need a veteran player who is the player we love but everyone else hates.

Ok why then? Its clear our team is to soft.CJ is too chill and nice, Zion still wants to be a kid and BI is too quiet. Maybe Draymond isn’t the answer but we definitely need an enforcer. Naji acting hard once every 8 games after Zion gets mauled all game every game isn’t cutting it.

Zion has been called “detached” by JJ directly and I believe a few news breakers, maybe Stan too? Bringing a stranger in to yell at Zion and fat shame him is not going to work.
Zion’s maturity is going to have to come from himself and/or his inner circle, who sadly seem like controlling enablers.

Who on our team do you hate so much that you want Draymond to knock them out?

We already have offensive spacing concerns. Draymond exacerbates that at a big salary. No thanks

I didn't say we don't need an enforcer. I'm saying Green isn't the answer. At least not my opinion.

Green makes no sense for us. So, I would say no. He would be a great fit on a team like the Pistons. I can see him having some value in FA. I just don't understand why he'd want to leave the Warriors.
The Warriors offseason is going to be interesting. The only untouchable is Curry. Wiggins seems to be safe too, cause he's on a semi reasonable deal. I can't believe the audacity of Thompson wanting a huge extension. He got paid for 2 seasons to do nothing. I'd move him and let Green walk. Try to hold onto Poole and Kuminga..

Devil’s advocate
Zion mentioned a few years back that he has approached Draymond mid game/after games and tried to pick his brain about certain things (especially defensively). Can’t remember if Draymond confirmed or not on his end as it was years ago.
D Griffin said on draft or lottery night that “Zion wants to be Draymond Green w rocket boosters in his arse.”
I know time has passed and Draymond has punched a teammate and Zion has been Zion’ing the past 4 years.
But it’s really not the most outlandish thing in the world if you take everything under consideration.
I honestly think the main 2 issues would be money and roster fit(not a shooter).
I think the reason why you do it would literally be for Zion though and it could potentially be beneficial for him. The Great ones have an edge. Draymond would either break him or fix him. And playing 29 games a season is already a pretty broken situation, so there isn’t honestly all that much risk here.

If you told me that we could win a championship next season if we added him, I would say no thank you.

If we were going to have a trade with Golden State, wouldn’t we trade for Poole out of those three?

I luv Draymond's overall game but...just about every aspect of his game that makes him great would be wasted if he played with our 2 stars...BI and Zion. Pelicans would be one of the last places where a player like Draymond could flourish. Get back to me when/if one or both of BI/Zion are moved to another team.
