praises joe dumars hire.
praises zion.
claps at social media department and talks the ineptitude of the organization.
if org is inept, how did we hire joe dumars?

which is it SAS?

SAS hating on clapping for notoriety when that's all he's done his entire career. he makes outlandish opinions on hot topics for clicks bait. Its entertainment but so is pelicans social media department.

What if this was an inside job by the Pels social media team knowing this was going to be the outcome? The org needs this kick in the arse in the public sector.

I love this theory. Some brave soul went all in knowing this was maybe needed to turn the franchise around.

It’s been a mess long before Dumars. Look at the stats.

look at deez nuts.

nba has a league problem.

zion is largely to be blamed for our organization's failures.

nba coddles stars and its filled with a league of soft arse pouting quitters.

pelicans have had horrible injury luck.

I don't think its completely fair to blame our past 5 years strictly on organization failures.

Perhaps don’t troll Stephen if you have done nothing in 27 years.

Injuries lame excuses. Get some new doctors. Sean Payton was not afraid to call that out.

Name some positives in 27 years? How is attendance? Where is your NBA rank?

still doesn't mean its not true. again, partly goes back to the league is soft and its a big time league problem.

Terrible roster construction. We had maybe 3 perimeter shooters on this team each year for the last 7 years in a league where shooting is everything. Now we lack size and shooting

Regardless of injuries this team would be mediocre at best throughout the years. NBA purgatory.

Zion isn’t a #1

In fact every player we’ve had on this team the last 7 years is at best a third option on a good team.

Too much complacency from ownership. Gayle doesn’t have a competitive bone in her body. She’s content. Griff sucked. Joe sucks. Hell continues and will continue until she sells.

its not about agreeing or disagreeing. its about him all up in his feelings about getting made fun of when his career is about shaming and tearing down what sucks in the world. but when its you that sucks, then its all high and mighty get on my pedestal for more clicks.

Look at this way.

https://pelicandebrief.com/pelicans-receive-unexpected-wake-up-call-from-the-last-person-they-expected

quote:

At the end of the day, no matter how you feel about Stephen A. Smith, you have to admit that his comments about the Pelicans were necessary. By calling out the Pelicans, he may have finally triggered change, and we may see fans get a team they can be proud of every night. This is a fan base that has waited almost 25 years for some form of success in the NBA, and it just hasn't happened. While Stephen A. said he believes hiring Joe Dumars is the start of a turnaround in New Orleans, it's hard to believe. Not just because, in his first offseason, he made several questionable moves, like trading away the team's first-round pick this season during the 2025 NBA draft, but more because the team's owner doesn't seem to care. New Orleans has been middle of the pack or bad for too long, and for a fan base that is as passionate as Pelicans fans are, they need more. The Big Easy is a city built on working hard and loyalty. Fans don't need some 65-win team every year, but they want to see a team with direction, and that is building towards something. The Pelicans right now are neither, as they float between the Zion era and the Derik Queen era. But hopefully, the comments Stephen A. Smith made are enough to enact some change.

This Pels Twitter/Stephen A thing has literally already happened once. It won't do anything. Just look at the comments under the videos on Twitter, Stephen A is so disliked by NBA fans already that public sentiment will be on the Pels side. Even if you're a Pels fan happy the team got called out you see him praise Dumars and realize "oh wait, Stephen A is just an idiot"

Zion is a millionaire and can afford to eat everything sourced and organic. He also should be burning a butt load of calories every day working out. You can be a foody. You can love to eat and still be in shape. That has nothing to do with it. It's the ingredients that matter. You can even eat spaghetti, steak, chicken, tacos. Mostly whatever you want. If you eat sourced meat, no added sugar and healthy fats. Try to stay away from glyphosate soaked American flour also.
Do that and work out every day and you should be built like a tank.
He's just lazy and he probably sits around eating fiddle faddle and chips and soda all day
