Have to go 3-2 over the last 5 games too now that we’re fighting for home court.

The clippers are playing bad enough that they could easily finish the season 6-4 or 5-5 opening the door for us to finish 4th

Anyone else on here rather be #6 if we can't get #4? Obviously #4 w/ home court would be preferred, but at #6, we most likely line up against a T-Wolves team w/o KAT and then could get OKC or SAC (in this scenario Dallas is #5) and avoid Denver until the WCF.

Got a feeling that Dallas gets all the way to 4.. and in that scenario, I feel like I'd want to match up with MINN before DAL

I know Mavs have been playing well but their next games aren’t cake walks. They have kings (they just beat them but kings were on back 2 back), warriors twice and rockets twice. Hawks in between. I dont know if I expect Dallas to win all those games nor do I think thats an easy stretch of games.

I can see a scenario where we play thr Twolves as fhe 6 seed while the Mavs and Clips beat up on each other as the 4 and 5.

All I want is to avoid the play in, but looking ahead, the 6 seed may very well be the best spot to be.

If Denver gets the 1 seed, the 6 is the best spot to be to max our odds of getting to the WCF imo.

Despite the loss, Pels can match up with OKC in the playoffs. Milwaukee and Boston were always going to be litmus on Pels match up with big frontlines. Game after is Phoenix where Pels haven't been able to control Booker. Orlando and San Antonio won't be easy outs.

I expect all of these games to be competitive. Zion has to match up with Giannis and Tatum right? Will they scheme Booker? Pels split next four is a good outcome, get Dyson and BI back into the fold and Pels roll in as a 5-6 seed.

It was obvious that Dallas was the winner at the trade deadline, similar to the Lakers the previous year. Mavs picked up a rim protector and lob threat in Gafford and a bench score in P.J. Washington, Pels stood pat. Mavs have an easier schedule, winning at least 2 out of the next four significantly increases Pels odds of maintaining the 5 seed, not counting for a Clips implosion.

agreed. I’m for whatever scenario allows us to avoid the play in and get the TWolves in the first round. I just wanna make it to the semis at least this season.
