Go look at the situation
We were playing the weak arse lotto bound Bulls
Z took a personal day and the team had to adjust on the fly without him to win the game
It ended up being a dogfight and Dejounte had to foul merchant a jump shot to help close the game out with 2 mins left, instead of comfortably resting on the bench with a 20 point lead had Z not taken a random arse mental health day on night 1 of the regular season
It was 1000% tied together. Little things like reliability matter and it set the tone for the entire season.

It wasn’t a dogfight. We were up 12 with 2 minutes to go and Murray took a wide open 3 after Lavine went under the screen. Lavine closed out and ended up in his landing area. Murray put his hands down and a freak break occurred. The same play literally happens 50 times a night across the NBA.

Jazz are resting everyone while we’re playing everyone tomorrow. But hey there’s 20 games left it doesn’t matter right as the raptors and sixers are continuing to find ways to lose.

You didn’t watch the game brotha. We were in a dogfight and Murray only was in that game bc Z tapped out due to personal issues. We were battling our asses off trying to win that game. It’s a game we were down in multiple times, bc we had to toss the entire gameplan out bc Z took a mental health day.
