My mother in law is pretty infamous for dying on the hill that if a weatherman says there's a 50% chance of rain, and it doesn't rain, that he was wrong. She says it didn't rain so in actuality there was a 0% chance.

Let’s beat Sacramento on Wednesday and I won’t bitch if we lose the next 2 after. Competing against the Kings for the 8 seed and we’ll have a few days rest so we should expect to win that one.

Not really. Yes, they have us as dogs in each game, but .47 + .37 + .22 adds up to 1.06 expected wins from our next three games.
The Grizzlies' percentages would add up to 1.14 expected wins in their next three.
That's why I said that the chalk is that both teams would go 1-2 in their next three games.

I'd be really surprised if the Spurs can hang with these other teams in this fight for the 8th seed. They're not completely out but they just don't have the talent to consistently win games at the pace needed. It's really a fight between the Pels, Blazers, Kings and Grizzlies. And if the Pelicans don't lay eggs they are an easy favorite to get the 8
