Carmelo went 1-15. Yeesh. I guess that's how you earn a spot on team USA over Jrue.

They barely over .500 playing a soft schedule up to this point. You think they will continue to play .500 on a hard schedule to finish the year? There’s no way they’re finishing over .500

The refs are sucking off la against Denver its fricking ridiculous

Anyone worried about Memphis needs to look at remaining schedule strength.
1. MEM
.
.
.
30. NOP
Tankathon Remaining Schedule Strength
And that doesn't even take into consideration that, of MEM's remaining 28 games, 16 of them are on the road and only 12 are at home (we have 14 home remaining and 14 on the road).

Yep this sos data has helped me accept memphis has no shot.
Their two games coming up vs lakers are both the 2nd of back to back.
Jiminy cricket!

I wouldn't say no shot, but it would probably be the most impressive thing this season in my book for them to finish over .500 and in the 8 spot with this schedule left.

Lillard hurt, he has a groin.
He's going to have a MRI today. It will be interesting to see how much time he's going to miss. If he's out against us in Portland, then I really, really like our chances in that game.

Nahhh, they want to make a push, you know he ain't missing any games

Dame is a dog. He won't rest unless he's forced to.
Posted on 2/13/20 at 11:22 am to JohnnyKilroy
If he tries to play through it, he’s basically risking doing more damage to the injury that could keep him out most of the rest of the season. They’d probably be wise to hold him out.

Good thing he's getting about a week off right now.

Yahoo Sources: Portland Trail Blazers star Damian Lillard underwent an MRI and it confirmed a groin strain with a 1-2 week recovery period.

Let's hope it's the 2 week variety

That's what he hoping. He doesn't want to face Jrue again after the asb.

5dimes put out odds for over/unders of team totals
blazers over/under 39 wins with both over and under right at -110
pelicans over/under 38.5 wins with over at -135
grizzlies over/under 38.5 wins with over at -125
(spurs over/under 36.5 wins with under at -130)
so they see us, portland, and memphis all finishing around 39 with the blazers having maybe the slightest of edges right now. a win in our final game against them on friday in portland would be a massive win

thanks bulldog.
i hope it happens.
all three tied on last day before game 82.
we thought it would come down to the last week for 7th, 8 and 9th and 10.

well that's not too promising
grizz over/under wins up to 39.5 with over slightly favored
blazers over/under still at 39 with even odds both ways
pels over/under still at 38.5 but now with even odds both ways

You guys have to remember alot of strong opponents will be resting players after all star break so Memphis will make it in.
Tbh when OKC could have not traded Gallo pretty much locked our chances out of making the playoffs. OKC length and scoring presence would have taken a massive hit and also resulted in them committed to being sellers and having them possibly falling out the playoffs even if they were ten games over .500.
The Pelicans will get very close, but ultimately not make it and Memphis will cruise to play LA in the first round and baring any injuries, the Pelicans will be a top 5 team next year.

I've kind of seen Portland as the biggest threat to the 8th seed for a while now, but even with the tough schedule, I have a hard time seeing Memphis not being able to win 12-13 games the second half and not be over .500.
