1) Call up the Lakers tomorrow and try not to laugh as they pick up on the first ring.

2) Inquire what it would take to land Lebron James

3) Leak said inquiry to the media

4) Profit as the internet and social media explode

Whoa. You better be careful with this silly post b.s. You might blow your shot at the “Elite Board.”

Dell: How about you give us LeBron for the rest of the season. Our fanbase would love it.
Magic: Wha-
Dell: No hear me out. We'll trade both he and AD back to you in the summer.
Magic: Even if I played along, I don't even think it's possible
Dell: Let me introduce you to Mickey Loomis
Mickey: LeBron for Randle, Solomon Hill, Moore
Magic: fuc-
Mickey: Let me finish, then in the summer we'll return Bron and AD for your 1st rd pick (which will be high lottery now that you sucked w/out Bron) Ingram, Kuzma, Suns 1st Rd pick from Lonzo Ball/Randle trade and your 1st rd picks in 2021 and 2023
Magic: Ok

Only problem I have is Demps fricking this up, he has these people right where he wants them, but if he's being ridiculous in asking for too much, well, he needs to be fired right away. I would take all their good young players and the 2 first round picks if that's what they're offering and call it a day. Getting all that for injury prone AD and Solomon Hill's inept contract is a good deal to me. You people can downvote me, but asking for too much sometimes can backfire on you.

All their "good young players" aren't very good. They just lost by 40 to a team on the 2nd night of a back to back. And the 2 picks will be shite too. The Lakers just don't have the assets on their roster to get a deal done.

A couple problems with that.

Their picks suck and their young players aren't exactly good

Same deal will be available in the summer and your draft pick will be a lot better because you sit your best player down. It's really simple. The Pels were never doing a deal before the season was over, it makes no sense

Some of those guys are good Zubac, Hart, Ingram, Kuzma and others are solid players, but frick a Ball, you don't need a PG with Payton there anyways. But I mean whatever cause that team is in rebellion against Walton I think anyways, they don't like playing for him or whatever. I mean I don't know what kind of deal the Pels are looking for. I guess shut it down til the summer and deal with Boston and NY, but AD has already said I think he doesn't wanna play in Boston.

Zubac and Hart are 7th and 8th guys on a mediocre team.

Kuzma is probably their best player right now but I doubt he amounts to anything beyond a 6MOTY in his career. Maybe he makes an all star game or two. Maybe.

It doesn't matter where they are in the rotation, my point is they are solid players, I've seen them play. But like I said whatever, it doesn't matter as long as they (Pelicans) don't burn themselves.

Zubac will be a FA
Hart is about as average a backup guard you can find
Ingram is two seasons away from being grossly overpaid
Kuzma is great for his contract
The draft picks will be shite and most likely end up as more Hart level players
Ball is a cancer who can’t shoot

Nahhh. Maybe if Magic can work some magic and turn Ball into something useful. Or maybe if the Lakers hadn’t fricked up all their top 3 picks over the last half decade.

You don’t trade a player at the level of Davis for a handful of “solid players” and two 1st round picks which won’t be in the lottery. 4-5 solid players doesn’t equal one or two all stars and the picks will be shite once the lakers have AD.
