the February 6th NBA trade deadline approaches, the New Orleans Pelicans are prioritizing a trade of Brandon Ingram, sources tell ESPN. Ingram and the Pelicans have discussed an extension, but those talks have repeatedly been unable to gain traction. Ingram will be an unrestricted free agent this offseason if he doesn't sign an extension.

Can we even expect anything more than a Lonzo type of trade and them getting under the tax at this point?

I can understand not trading Zion. Let’s see if he can rehab his image by coming back. BI you have to trade or get nothing. I don’t see why we wouldn’t trade CJ though..

he just finished a 71 game season last year. If he gets hurt again when we try to “regrow his value” it’s over.

I feel like teams suffer from holding onto players too long and more times than not the player loses value. Just with our team alone BI and Lonzo are examples of that. I could be wrong but the quicker we trade him, the better.

I’m okay with keeping Dejounte. I think he’s a guy who we can let regrow their value(if it happens) Plus he helps develop Missi with good passing. That’s the main reason

Zions value is at an all time low. I think it’s safe to say he can rehab a bit this year. Also pulling off two blockbuster trades before deadline will be hard. Good to focus on BI and Zion in summer imo.

I don’t think we have much of a choice. I mentioned this in the off-season, but what teams really need a pg? He’s in his late 20’s. Will have to be a team that’s ready to win now or very soon.

Part of the reason I think we over paid some when we traded for him. Unless we can flip him with some other assets for another pg that wants out like Fox.

It’s as low as it’s going to go. No reason to trade him now for nothing.

It’s bad enough Griff got nothing for Ball when he could have got Lauri for an even swap. And it’s likely he will get nothing for BI. We basically will have nothing to show for the AD trade.

We have no choice but to rehab Zions value.

Trade everybody but the young ones or good ones with good deals. Idk who those are but that’s the way forward. Also, fire Loomis.

Zion’s a dead weight on this city

I’d let him play 5 games. Hope fat boy makes some layups without injuring himself and trade him.
