Man I'm loving how this is playing out with LeGM and his goons. The best part of the article was

quote:

.....Pelicans all along saw as tampering, and did all this to nuke the Lakers’ internal chemistry and torpedo the second half of their season, holy shite! They invented a new kind of tampering, and deployed it like a goddamn smart-bomb! The Pelicans may be horrendous at building a contender around a generational talent, but for sheer dark-hearted vindictiveness, they are in a class all their own.

I disagree. I venture to say this is going to garner widespread respect toward our front office since we aren’t allowing ourselves to be bullied.

frick LeBron, frick LA, and frick all those Venice Beach douchebags who think they can strongarm smaller franchises to steal players. LeGM can choke on this dick.

I don’t think those two are mutually exclusive. Pels get respect and Lakers get mocked

Look, this very well could backfire.

But in the moment it does feel sooo good.

I think that crowd in Indy deserves an honorable mention in all of this. I don't think this happens without them.

Is this the new narrative? LA and LeBron are now the poor victims?

Wow. Look at all those superstars the Lakers traded for sitting right next to LeBron.

Russell’s said on his Pod about AD that there were some GMs in the league that were downright afraid to cross Lebron and Klutch. I think the Pels did the league a favor and showed the rest of the league that you don’t have to cower to these clowns.

Yes, but what they don't realize is that by staging it this way they are only building our stature in the eyes of the league. It's almost a shame we're getting a new GM. I want them to do a real search but I also want Ferry to stay.

It's not just Loomis or just Demps or just Ferry. Just like it's not one coach, Pop or Stevens, who will "fix" the Pels.

This is what happens when an organization wakes up and decides to put the time and thought into being a winner. And it has to be an entire organization moving in the same direction guided by the same principles and process

Yea I'm thinking your correct. I guess y'all forgot the poopoo platter this same GM accepted from the Lakers for Chris Paul the first go around. And was going to give out at least a first and possible other assets to get Oakafor before the Boogie trade fell in his lap. This is Loomis and Ferry...

If Dell still had control and no oversight, I think he would have bent over and jumped on this trade.

The funny thing here is you have generated Pels interest from non Pels fans because of the screw Los Angeles angle. By putting in the team effort you’re talking about, they’re creating fans of the organization, not just the team. Hopefully this really is an inflection point for the team and they start getting their collective shite together to build a winning organization.

How much can it backfire unless the league office comes down on us?

What’s the worst that could happen, our franchise player wants out? Oh, wait...

You know Mickey is enjoying a chance to screw an LA team over too.

I don’t feel too bad for him.

He arguably didn’t deserve it to begin with but him getting fired will be seen as a LeBron and Magic issue rather than one on him.

He would be capable of getting another job, just not one which necessarily has the supposed appeal of the Lakers.
