Without all that healthy star power help none of those guys have ever won a title.

It was indeed awfully impressive when Dirk took a 37 year old Jason Kidd and a bunch of role players and beat

Kobe/Odom/artest, Durant/Westbrook/harden, and
lebron/wade/bosh

All in the same playoffs.

Or when Olajuwon won a title with Otis Thorpe as his second best player and eliminated Barkley/Thunder Dan, Stockton/Malone and Ewing.

Harden just hasn’t been good enough to win a title. Hell of an offensive player, but he makes his teammates worse and doesn’t play defense with a damn. The transcendent greats win titles. Harden has none.

“Makes his trammates worse”

one of the greatest playmakers in the nba. Makes the game easier for everyone.

When you talk about the 2 for 11 shooting playoff performance, and you have to ask which of the 3 games you're talking about...that's not good.

Jim makes so many other players better yet he can't commit to taking care of his body better. It's crazy stuff. He just doesn't have that step anymore, doesn't have his legs. Its been rough to watch him continuously burn out each year in the playoffs due to lack of conditioning/effort/mental fortitude.

One of the games his team won, the other he went to the FT line 20 times. So saying 2-11 is intellectually dishonest to say the least. What was his TS in the game he was 2-11 and went to the line 20 times.

Why does the greatest offensive player in NBA history make only 2 shots on only 11 attempts 3 different times in the postseason?

Trapping defenses / off shooting nights.

Notice these cherry picked stats will never mention the assists.

James also refuses to work off ball to get open too. Don't leave that out.

When you draw the double team and give your teammates the 4v3 advantage nba Coaches and common sense says it is time to attack. Not pass the ball back to the guy who just beat the double team

Imagine being the best offensive player in the NBA and a simple double team means you can't make more than 2 shots in a game...multiple times.

Most double teamed player in the playoff thru 2 rounds. Double harden, make embiid beat ya with one hand. That strategy won out for MIA. Fact is no other player has ever won a championship with their MVP runner up teammate at 60% either.

Dejounte Murray being a toxic a-hole on social media regarding the Spurs. True feelings slipping out.

Of course he is. I think they should institute some sort of waiver system for players bought out so that the rich do not keep getting richer off of them.

Teams should be limited to 1 buyout signing per year.

Spurs are in the worse shape of any franchise when it comes to either being good now, or having promising upcoming talent on the roster when combined that it may rank dead last as a free agent destination.

I really like Sochan, and think that they can probably trade Keldon in a year or so and get a decent return. But overall yeah, they don’t have any top tier talent at all, and a player like Sochan is better being a role player complimenting very good players.
