and NO CLUBBING,
you are talking about an intervention with support including dietician and cook and a psychologist.
you take away clubbing and his social life and access to a certain type woman change.
and he may be alcoholic.
its not a trivial matter to "stop clubbing."

it’s likely this is Jim’s last chance to alpha a good team. Credit to him for working with the sixers to fill out the roster, obviously morey being there changes everything
regardless of what the nets do I think PHI and BOS are the clear East favorites and if I were a sixers fan I’d be very good excited about what embiid is capable of with a very large chip on his shoulder

has won more games than lebron the last decade, never missed the playoffs, has been outta rd 1 about 6-7 years in row. Team has been snake bit by injury in the later rounds. No player or team wins deep in the playoffs when one of their best two players is banged up.

when I first heard I wondered if he's ok with veteran minimum. my search says he's worth 165 million and has endorsement deals worth 18 million a year.
maybe legacy matters.

boom it’s time to stop with the injury-luck excuse for Jim. He is the common denominator and his lack of professionalism and preparation has cost his teams.
I do think he is still a top 10 talent and he can and should be able to lift a good team to elite status. Sixers fans should be very excited

Don’t tug on Superman’s cape
Don’t spit in the wind
You don’t pull the mask off the old Lone Ranger
And you don’t mess around with Jim

This year - embiid
Last year - him and irivng
Previous year - Westbrook
Before - Chris Paul
you can go Thru Bron and Stephs career and anyone else and see every title they win the top guys are healthy. when those guys haven’t had good health among the top players on their team, no title. And recently those guys don’t even make the playoffs at all when they are banged up.

So, Jim is just the most unlucky player to ever step foot on a court?

just stop
it’s getting to be a fetish with you
Jim is an elite player who has fallen short. This is his chance and now it’s on him to deliver

every time Bron has won a title he either had two healthy all stars or a top 5 teammate
The only time KD won titles he had 3 other healthy future hall of famers.
Any time Steph win a title he had at least 2 other healthy hall of famers.
Without all that healthy star power help none of those guys have ever won a title. And none have won titles with their costar as banged up as embiid was.

What about Giannis?
Middleton and Jrue?
Middleton and Jrue?

Two healthy all star caliber teammates. Also you have to remember the team he played in the finals only got there bc they were blessed w great luck themselves. No doubt about it those suns were the weakest team to come
Out the west this century.

Middleton and Jrue are only all-star caliber players because they are playing with Giannis.
Posted on 7/19/22 at 11:24 am to Boomshockalocka
Giannis is entering year 10 and without BKN losing 2 all nba caliber players in 1 series he has 1 ECF appearance and about 6 second rd losses on his career resume. Without the all time luck going his way what does his resume look like?
Posted on 7/19/22 at 11:25 am to Epic Cajun
they are both Olympians. Middleton is a 50/40/90 guy and the closer for his team. They can’t give the ball to Giannis at the end of games.
Posted on 7/19/22 at 11:28 am to Boomshockalocka
We’ve seen Jrue on another team, and he isn’t an all star without Giannis.
We haven’t really seen Middleton without Giannis, but I think it’s debatable if he would be considered an all star caliber player without being paired with a top 5 player.
