I’ve got to assume there are heavy protections on that pick.

Damn
Hate to say it but Sac had the potential to be a pest this year
Fox
Huerter
Barnes
Murray
Sabonis
They will probably be bottom 20 defensively, but I can see them being a team that can play with any team a given night and have some nice wins by the end of the year.
Feels like the West is gonna be a nightmare this season…more than usual

They still suck arse defensively

And Malik Monk. Not a bad team by any means

Good to see Kangz doing not Kangz things for once

nice trade for ATL i think.
Holiday isnt' all that much different than Heurter as a backup shooter, and makes a good bit less.
I still don't think Sacramento makes the playoffs, but they are looking better and better.

The Kings are sending a 2024 lottery-protected first-round pick to the Hawks for Huerter, sources tell ESPN. Pick becomes Top 12 protected in 2025, and top 10 protected in 2026.

The Indiana Pacers are trading guard Malcolm Brogdon to the Boston Celtics, sources tell ESPN.
He doesn’t fit their TPE so players have to be involved.
White, Smart, Robert Williams and Theis are the likely candidates

Celtics have no cap space so there has to be serious players involved.

Trade scenario:
Pels get Jonathon Isaac, no physical needed even though he hasn't played in 2 years b/c of an ACL injury.
Magic get DG/Jax/Temple maybe a 2nd.
I think the Magic are kind of done with him, and we could be a reclamation project for him.
He's got 3 years left on his contract, but the last year has $0 garuanteed, and next year is only $7.6M guaranteed, so if it doens't work out, it's not a big deal.
and that trade would leave us with about $5M to go sign someone else with the open roster spot we would have after signing Liddell.

The Celtics are sending Daniel Theis, Aaron Nesmith and a 2023 first-round pick, sources tell ESPN.

Has to be more than this, that’s not enough salary for Boston to take in Brogdon

Theis, Nesmith, 2023 1st
So not too much to give up by Boston for a good but often injured player, pacers at least get something to move along the rebuild

I assume the Pacers are just going to waive several of these guys

Celtics still have to add about 7 million for it to be a legal deal
Eta: There it is
