The negative post have been embarrassing to our fan base.

It's hard for me to even visit this chat room for Pelican information. I'll try and address some of the topics/post.

A) SELL THE TEAM. My goodness, this city is lucky to have an NBA team, and the Benson's are responsible for that.

B) GAYLE BENSON IS TIGHT, AND ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY. That's bull---t! Griffin took the job only if Mrs. Benson was willing to go over the cap. That was contingent only if Griffin thought the Pels could contend. If Griffin thought the Pels needed a big salary player at the trading deadline, and this player could help the Pels reach the finals. Gayle would have approved the trade. This never did happen for many reasons, but not because of money.

C). GRIFFIN WAS A FAILURE. Personally, I believe he's getting a raw deal from the press, and fans. I agree he's made some bad moves. His biggest mistake I believe is the Jaxson Hayes trade. He also has some feathers in his cap with the obvious players like Trey, Herb, Dyson, and Alvarado. This past season he did a very good job with Messi, Karlo, Reeves, and Brooks. But, let's get real. No one on this website, or any fan of the Pels knows how good , or bad this team is. Why? Zion, and the incredible amount of injuries this team has played through for five years. This David Griffin fellow has the darkest cloud hanging over him ever since that ping pong ball has Zion's name on it. BAD LUCK

D). THIS PELICAN TEAM IS REALLY BAD. I don't think so. If every player comes back healthy next year, and in my world if the Pels make a good trade for Zion this team has the talent to win 45 to 50 games. Of course, we need a top three pick in the draft. Would you rather be the Suns, Sixers, Raptors, Hawks, Mavericks, Trailblazers, Jazz, Bulls, Nets, Hornets, Wizards. You get the point? You don't agree? Stop all the effin whining. Injuries have killed this team, along with a super star that cannot be counted on playing 70 games. Please make a good trade for Zion, and let's get Murray and everyone else back healthy.

E) JOE DUMARS AND COACH GREEN . Dumars is a very intelligent man. Give him a chance, and let him bring a couple of mad dogs with him. If the players still like Green, then give him another year, and let's see the results. Stop whining about these two high quality men. I know the players can relate more to Dumars than Griffin. No brainer. However, I would go after Chris Paul right now and give him the head coaching job. Even, player coach.

F) SHAMIT'S ARTICLE . Jump up my arse Shamit. Throughout the NFL, and the NBA the Benson ownership is considered CLASS. That's right. They have a history of caring for their employees. Just ask Drew, and the other Jrue, and any player who has passed through Airline Dr. I'll even throw in Mickey too. Shamit is full of SH-T! Period.

G) SKC. The day will come sometime in the next five years my parking spot in the Champions garage will be a new arena.

How will all this happen? Just pray on Good Friday that the Pels get a fair deal for Zion, and we get get Cooper Flagg. Hang in there fans. Remember when the Pels were healthy. No team in the NBA ran them off the court. No team. I remember how much fun it was. One other thing to pray for. Get Dyson Daniels back.
