That's too much for Bledsoe IMO. I've soured on him a little bit after seeing him during that stretch run when CP3 was out.

It's funny how running an offense against a 1st unit is more difficult than attacking second units and being set up by Chris Paul...

Bledsoe rarely ever plays on the court with Paul.

If the starting lineup next year could be

Bledsoe
Gordon
Porter
Davis
Pekovic

with
Anderson
Aminu
Smiht

on the bench.

Sign me up for that.

How about

Gravy
Gordon
Porter
Davis
Pekovic

with
Anderson
Aminu
Smiht

on the bench...

along with Lopez and our 2014 1st round pick in our back pocket

ETA - we'd probably have to give Lopez + some for Pekovic but my point was, unlike MM, I would laugh at the Clippers if they told me to give them Gravy, Lopez, and a 1st for Eric Bledsoe.

he wasn't that bad. 14/5/5 during that stretch. about a 2:1 assist to turnover ratio. not great, but not awful.

I like Bledsoe. I think he's going to be a very good player. I like Vasquez, too.

IF they want to move on from Vasquez and get Bledsoe, that could be OK....wouldn't mind taking on Deandre Jordan(don't know if that's realistic).

...I would much prefer Bledsoe to B. Jennings

I would be ok as well but throwing in Lopez who, although I wish he were tougher inside and would grab more boards, would be a great back up C on a reasonable contract, AND a 1st round pick in 2014 on a rebuilding team is almost comical, IMO.

agreed. I wasn't talking about the MM package, just in general.

...I think Lopez is gonna get moved..most likely to get traded, imo.

Wouldn't be the worst thing to happen, especially if we get a nice piece back for him

He's an alright center, but nothing special and really not any better than Smith

He's a lot more disposable than many on this board think

I don't think Lopez is as polarizing as Gravy. No one thinks he's the long term answer at C. An above average back up, yes.

He should be. Vasquez is twice the basketball player Lopez is.

Lopez is a career backup, rotation kind of guy

Vasquez is a legit starting PG

You and I agree. Maybe I didn't word it right. Lopez is not argued about like Gravy is. Everyone on here knows he's better suited as a back up. Vasquez is polarizing because some say you won't win a title with him and others say he's suitable enough.

i think you used the word correctly.

Lopez has a very nice offensive game for a center...nice jumper, solid post moves, very good free throw percentage...It's not very common in centers.

...too bad his poor rebounding, defense, extreme lack of athleticism, and overall softness negate the positive.

It's closer to awful than it is to great.

Half the board jumped down my throat for saying that in December...

but 15/5/5 in 30 minutes isn't bad. again, not great, but not bad.

eta: i'm not backing bledsoe at all. just saying he isn't bad. not better than GV, IMO

I don't think I was one of them

He's not an all-star, and it's not like we couldn't upgrade from him pretty easily, but he's a legit starter

He's good enough that we could make some noise in the playoffs with him running the point down the road

pretty good...younger and much more athletic.

he'll be better than Vasquez at everything except passing, imo (particularly defense)...of course, passing is a big deal for a PG.
