I think Zion is an alpha.

Its just tough to be the only one on the team AND one of the youngest guys.

I mentioned that I think thats why we don't see Zion getting as hyped as he used to in college. He's playing with a group of guys that play like they're on sleeping pills. Nobody on this roster has the personality to meet his energy.

I remember he was ready to explode after a big play in a game against Houston earlier in the season, and comes to the bench greeted by a bunch dudes giving library-quality high fives.

I think Zion is. Van Gundy just refuses to have the ball go through him at the end of games. He prefers one on one iso ball with Ingram and Ball every time. Genius.

He’s going to go and tell us he will look at the starting roster again and evaluate. Like every effing lost without doing something about it

the lack of fans has to be having a big effect on him too

i don’t see it. Guy only had 11 shots and I don’t see him ever demanding the ball. Don’t see him opening his mouth a lot. If he’s alpha, it’s not there yet

He shot 10 fts....he obviously had more than 11 shot attempts, he just got fouled a lot.

I was in the SKC last night, and you could definitely hear the fans. It's definitely not the same as a full blender, but it's not nothing. And the SKC is getting an additional 1000 fans next week.

Nah. I watched Zion pass up many attempts to drive last night and instead hand the ball off to someone else.

He could consistently drive and score 60 and we'd win, but he's just not ready for that emotional burden yet. I think a big part of it is his knowledge that he needs to be a leader on the defensive side of the ball, and he's working to get there, but he isn't there yet.

Adams and JJ are alphas.

I think our coaching has struggled at times. Stan’s defensive philosophy makes sense generally, but since COVID I think his has brought more confidence to 3 pt shooters not associated with the Pelicans ( ). He alone needs to figure it out.

Stan let Kaminsky go 5/5 from the 3 pt line at one point. It seems the players are not aware of who we can’t leave alone or who is heating up and adjusting.
