A long time ago I was at a Saints game where Hebert came back after sitting out a year because of a contract dispute. The whole crowd booed the hell out of him. The first snap he hits a guy for a huge bomb and the crowd was stunned. They cheered him the rest of the game. I really believe people will forgive him pretty quick if he had a change of heart or does something worth cheering about..

Not a similar situation. Once Hebert was back, he was back. Davis is serving out his sentence so he can hopefully make all-NBA and recoup some money he's leaving on the table.

Just saying that fans are fickle and have short memories. I am sure it will be vicious. But people will give it up pretty quick..
