His lack of coaching experience is not ideal to me. Players of his caliber get this kind of opportunity though.
Whomever hires him needs to have a very experienced staff. Probably need a former HC as a lead assistant.

its all about credibility to the stars. it doesn't have to come from experience coaching to be gained. Steve Nash for example.

I would hope it does not take too long if he really has his eye on a particular coach. Wondering if the rumors of his admiration of Lee are true and he is keeping the list small as a result.
