I agree with all of this. The obvious issue is that we don't have 3 years. We will have to make a decision on Poole/ Zion/ Murray this season... The point is to see how far we get and who fits. If that gets blown up because of shitty center play that's a problem. We also risk the chance that he isn't ready but our team is competitive and we are forced to trade an asset to fill a hole with minimum leverage.
I don't want to prematurely move Murray to replace Missi if things don't work out. That's the kind of risks we are running at the moment.
If Missi is not the answer then we will have to move Poole/ Zion/ Murray to find a viable replacement because of it.
You think Kessler costs a lot now, but just wait until we have no leverage and he's the only option to improve our team without giving up bigger contracts. This is about as likely of a scenario as Missi being good enough this year.

Why not? Its a 4 game season. I'd rather them play immediately and work on things from the last game than go 3 days on a break in Vegas.
We have b2bs in a regular 82 game season with the average NBA player of 26 y/o. You are telling me 20 y/o can't go b2b in a 4 game season without issues?

Its our last game and then they have several months without another game. Unless those guys are injured I don't know why we'd sit them. If that's the case then Missi would have been shut down 2 games ago.
I could be wrong but it doesn't make sense to sit them at all.

Thats pretty standard, we went 2 games with a retooled roster and no injuries; so we just went ahead and broke queens hand in the lockeroom ahead of time.
