Still think bro will be MVP this year, but Zion is still 10+ pounds heavier than the 2022

Media day.
You can easily see a difference in body mass from here
LINK (look at the arms and shoulders and see how low his body fat was in 22)
To the vids from yesterday. There is still a lot of fluff on his frame and his mass is still up there. This is still a 300-310 weight frame smh. He looks the exact same size as he did last season for media day And I thought he was MUCH heavier than 2022 last year and I voiced my opinion on it.
I'm kinda mad that I thought he was gonna return to the Duke frame because of the pics, but bro is not there.
It's also the muscle. He has too much of it and I would not mind if he just stopped lifting weights and did ONLY cardio to tons down on the extra mass. The dude is already built like a tank without lifting weights, he needs to stay tf away from them for the next 2 seasons and just run and sweat.

Yeah I was fairly disappointed at how he looked yesterday.

I think he looks fine? Is he in the absolute ideal shape? No. Does the arrow look like it's moving in the right direction for him? Yes. If he can keep up his discipline and continuing working his way into gain shape we'll be fine. There's still time for some work to be done between now and October 23rd.

No it hasn't. He legitimately did not look good last year, looks great this year.

I know this opens me up for the usual message board gay joke, but look at the horizontal stretching on the shorts that are fighting to stay on.

Same. He looked fine, but based on all of the talk and what we saw in other pictures, I thought he would like better.

He literally looks the EXACT same size as media day 2023. Like EXACT in every way except the beard. Look for yourself.
LINK
Same amount of fluff on the face, shoulder, arms, and mid section.
Not "Bad" shape at all, but definitely 10+ heavier than 2022 and not on the same realm as his Duke frame

I think his face looks fatter this year than it did to start last year.
I honestly don't care as long as he isnt' huffing and puffing out there and it causes him to be worthless on defense.
But he still looks like he needs to lose 20lbs.
He talked about seeing what Lebron was doing to them in that blowout loss and wanting to be better. Lebron grabs rebounds at 40 and runs the floor like a deer, and does it all game. I don't think i've ever seen Lebron tired in his career. Get to that level of stamina and i dont' care how much you weight. Zion grabbing boards and sprinting up the court like Lebron and Giannis does is what every team doesn't want to see.

Zion gets to the basket on drives more than any other player in the NBA by a large margin lol, more than Bron at any level in his prime also.
This is out of shape Zion last year, in year 2 he had the most drives to the basket per game in NBA history.
No matter what shape he is in (except that play in shape because you could see the extra meat hanging off his body, pause) he will be the most efficient scorer in the league.

You don't remember the baby reveal or whatever it was pics?
We 100% did the exact same thing last season, then Zion came in looking not as skinny...and now we're doing it again this offseason.

I'm strictly talking about media day last year vs this year. I think he looks better. We can agree to disagree.

No where did I talk about half court offense drives to the basket.
I said grab the fricking rebound and sprint up the court. There's a huge huge difference between the two, and you have to be in great shape to do what I said, and he's yet to be at that level in 5 years.
