sending out bledsoe and/or hill and those picks for Adams seem a bit much. I think we still have bledsoe and hill

I want to believe but what other players could get us to matching Adam's salary? Seems like at least one of them have to be included, no?

not entirely clear. Woj has been doing a lot of clarifying and not once has he mentioned bledsoe or hill moving which tells me we did this deal without them

You’d think if players like Bledsoe were involved it would have been mentioned already. I think that’s the end of that trade. Just giving up those picks. We’d do a separate trade with some of these guards after

Pelicans currently sending out $26M (Jrue) and taking in $54M (Adams Bledsoe Hill)

Last piece of this is how the Pelicans match salary, which is still unconfirmed

Obviously Bledsoe out is most likely, But Pels could always guarantee Miller's $7M and keep Hill to flip him separately

They don’t have the cap space to send out just Jrue and bring back Bledsoe, Hill and Adams.

I wonder if the Bucks deal is being changed since they didn’t get Bogdan.

From what I understand, we can't aggregate Bledsoe or Hill's salary in a deal until December.

So they would have to, separately, go to different teams.

No they can just rework the trade that hasn’t been finalized yet and have the Bucks reroute them wherever we want

This is turning out to be a very complex trade. We’re still only getting bits and pieces right now with woj stumbling to get information.

Up to 7 teams involved and having things broken up into pieces, very complex.

If I had to guess Bledsoe is going somewhere else for the 2nds that OKC is getting, Miller goes to OKC and Hill to the Pels.

If the Pels are rerouting Bledsoe and Hill, then these are the players that they'll have under contract for the 2021-22 season after the trade (assuming BI max):

Ingram, Zion, Hayes, NAW, Kira

That's it. Total of $52M. Projected cap is $112M.

Griff setting us up nicely

Woj on SC just now seemed to say Bledsoe was still one of the vets on the Pels after this trade and that the Pels want to keep Adams beyond this year

This is - BY FAR - the craziest FA period I've been alive for.

Need Mac to wake up to give analysis + inside info

Bledsoe for seconds would be a bit disappointing

Sounds like a team gunning for a playoff spot.

If it’s not Bledsoe on the move than it’s either JJ or Lonzo those are the only other contracts with Miller+Hill going out too where you could make the trade work while keeping Bledsoe
