Yeah, frick that noise. I’m down with the 4 and a future pick, but not some blockbuster deal. They are teetering on rebuild and need the assets. We can give them a decent start.

Malika Andrews was asked earlier on espn if she’s heard anything about what Griffin plans to do with the 4th pick. She responded in summary that they have been taking offers since they received it and are looking to add a veteran big man to the roster. If Langford is any indication of the area of the pick they will receive back in dealing the 4th pick, I would assume that trading 4 and solo for turner and 18 would be something they are looking into. I’m sure the trade would look a little different but that would be the main pieces

I think it’s very possible. I don’t know how much the pacers value turner over Sabonis. Some say they like Sabonis more, some say they like turner more. But if they make this trade they care pair garland with dipo. They would then have the option of trying to move solo’s expiring mid season or just wait it out and use solos money they get back in cap space to extend Sabonis and have more cap space to sign another FA.
