We need a True Point and a stretch Center… Move BI and CJ and get something out of them this offseason…

I really wish this would have worked. But i just don’t see it happening

Zion isn't playing.

Nothing you suggested will work if Zion doesn't play.

i know he isn’t playing, and what did i suggest working if Z isn’t playing?

You drunk?

I know Z makes a difference, but this isn’t going to work regardless… We need a real Point and a stretch big that can run the damn floor… Not rocket Science…

I really wanted to have BI work, but we can’t lose him and get nothing also while he’s worth something, because dude hit his ceiling IMHO

This is not a playoff team.
We don’t have clutch “stars”, and our coach cannot coach 4quarters.
This team lacks an identity.

Entire franchise lacks identity. Clowns from the very top on down the line.

Not clowns, more like highway bandits that enjoy pillaging the poor people of New Orleans.

Pretty much nobody uses a "true point" anymore, and we need a mobile rim protector at the 5, not a stretch 5.

I swear this is like the people pushing Trae

In the playoffs, our D does not work, because too many of our guys can be isolated and hunted. Jonas (in certain matchups), CJ, BI, Jose, and Nance are all defensive liabilities in the playoffs.

We are likely losing Naji.

As long as Willie is here, trying to pretend we will be this all offense, meh defense team is silly. He'll bench KAT and Trae and Willie would be at war

Pelicans did everything right on paper - got a bunch of picks for AD, got Jonas, CJ and BI. Even drafted well. Everything to change the franchise, problem is Zion is always hurt.

Yes it is. A clueless gold digger billionaire letting Loomis and Lauscha run the franchises into the ground for millions and millions too.

Said at the deadline I'd have been willing to move BI in a deal for Murray & Cappella. Neither is as good as Brandon, but the fit is better and the price is cheaper longterm.

Murray averages about the same production as BI, but takes many more threes, can handle the ball in the clutch and is a better defender, though not quite as long as BI.

Cappella has limitations, but he averages a double double on 25 minutes a night, is still pretty mobile and offers some rim protection (1.5 blks/game)

A line up of Murray/Herb/Trey/Zion/Cappella is long and switchable on defense and offers more three point shooting on offense. CJ would give you 25-30 minutes off the bench and anchor the second unit as he transitions into an older player. You could also look to move him, but he's got value as a bench scorer and good off ball shooter.

Everyone keeps saying so and so is not as good as Brandon but is that really true?

I said this several months ago but Ingram is a lot closer to guys like Kuzma, Jerami Grant, RJ Barret, Tobias Harris, etc. than he is any legit star.
