Was thinking if things truly went nuclear and we decide to cut bait and make a trade who would have the assets we want? He has no leverage.

A team that I feel could provide an appealing package if they really want to make a run for him...Orlando.

Maybe a package of Isaac, Fultz, and picks?

I saw Fultz this morning (our kids go to the same daycare) and he looked good. I know there is an injury risk there but he's a volume scorer and has some size. Give them Graham as well.

Graham + Zion for Isaac, Fultz, 3 picks

He could just not sign his offer this off-season.

Fultz is not only an injury risk, but he is not very good.

And he goes out and plays and breaks his foot again and then not only does he not have any more guaranteed NBA money, his endorsements start drying up too. That's DeMarcus Cousins level career management. They already replaced Zion in those Zach Lavine Doritos commercials.

As long as the Pels don't get too cute with protections he'll sign the extension. CJ already said it, "you can't double team all of us", I don't think the team or Zion wants to shut this down without giving it a shot to work.

Zion’s gonna sign the extension for all those reasons, and because much of the catastrophizing sentiment was doom assuming that had little basis in reality.
