Why take Garland when we have two point guards on the roster? Trading ball?

Garland would be the best pure shooter and shot creator of the bunch.

Say we trade Ball, then you’re saying we have 1, 4, 6??

If so it has the potential to be an amazing haul. Pick up Deandre Hunter at 6 and we are stacked!!

How sure are we Phoenix wants to trade the 6 for ball? ESPN is reporting we are interested in trading 4 to hawks for 8 & 10

I would be commuting from college for each game, the lineup could be the most exciting in the league. Hunter is not given the credit he deserves and with Zion who is elite and Garland’s potential scoring capacity, we would be playoff bound.

I also like White our of UNC a lot at 4.

First of all it appears that we are trading Garland/4.

Second of all in the NBA you always take whomever the best talent is. You worry about fit or position later.

Talent makes more difference in the NBa than almost any sport.

You take BPA and worry about the rest later. If Ball and Garland both develop, then you have a real nice backcourt for the foreseeable future.

You have the 4th pick in the draft, if everything works the way we anticipate we won't be this far up in the draft for a decade. You make the pick and keep the player. If you feel that Garland is the best player available then you pick him. Assets outweighs needs for us right now.
I take Garland at 4. You keep everyone. You start Ball. You have Garland coming off the bench and leading the second team. Then at the trade deadline you evaluate where both Lonzo and Garland are. If you think Garland is ready to lead the starting unit you trade Lonzo for a king's ransom. Maybe to Indiana for Turner and an unprotected first rd pick.

Draft for talent, not fit at the top of the draft.

At the 2 Where he's played, where he wants to play.

If Ball gets beat out by a rookie before the deadline, you’re not getting a king’s ransom in return.

Ya jrue is 6’4 with a 6’7 wingspan and is strong as hell. Lonzo is 6’6 so it’s not like these guys can’t play at the bigger positions sometimes when garland runs point.

I’m not saying he’s getting beat out, just that Garland has progressed enough to where you can determine he is the future.

Because if you were a fan prior to the Pels winning the draft lottery, you’d know that we only have 1 pg on the roster...and although talented he can’t shoot yet.

Jrue isn’t a pg, he’s a combo guard who has settled in playing off the ball.
