So I've been seriously considering cutting the cable and going with Sling TV, which will save me around $70 per month. But my main concern is whether or not Sling TV will have Fox Sports New Orleans to watch the Pelicans games. If it doesn't, then that is a deal breaker.

Does anyone here have Sling TV and know the answer to this?

Thanks In Advance.

I tried it 2 years ago and found the games to be a bit choppy.

Reddit streaming is absolutely free to use. Sometimes choppy but not $70 a month.

I cut cable 1.5 years ago and went PS Vue through my apple TV.

Haven’t looked back. It’s awesome and haven’t missed one Pels game.

Yeah, I think you’ll find PSVue is the most common choice here but I do believe most if not all of the major streamers will have FSNO.

Are you able to watch them DVR style? I’m not able to catch games live very often due to work schedule but like to catch them later on DVR. Is this an option on PS Vue, Xbox, etc.?

There is no need to own a PlayStation for psvue. I have it through my Roku tv, and there is a DVR feature.

I've had no issues watching pelicans games on there.

Have it with DirecTV now but just got it so not sure how it runs for games. The nice thing is that you can use your login to sign into the FoxSportsNow app or website to watch the games from there as well.

I have Directv Now and this is how I have to watch Pelicans games.

I don't know how it is on other services, but on PS Vue there seemed to be an added 10-15 second delay watching within the Vue app. I'd usually watch using the FSGO app and seem to be in sync with the game thread for the most part since I think most of us are streaming these days.

Honestly I recommend watching almost anything from it's native app over the actual DTV now app. It's nice to have to throw something on TV in general, but honestly if they just sold me a login to get into all the channel apps I'd be fine with that. I actually prefer the way the TV app on the Apple TV organizes your shows anyway.

It has it. It’s how I watch all of the games. It has NBAtv also for the rare games that come on there (only one I remember was the day MLK game last year or the year before last).

If you want NFL games, buy an antenna.

TL;DR sign up for PlayStation Vue and download the app for Roku. It seems to be the best combination of high popularity and low complaints on this and the movie board.

All of the services have slightly different national and local channels and slightly different price points. PS Vue is the most up front but they include DVR and the most streams up front too. Adding full DVR and more than 2 streams is extra for some services like HuluLive and DirecTV Now. You basically just need to look at each to see which one has the features/channels/price you want.

PS Vue doesn't work for me. I have no idea why. I even tried to talk to customer service but they can never verify my zip code or some shite.

Other than cost, is there any real advantage to watch via streaming?
